Walter was speechless.

He thought, ‘I’m not useless! It’s just that Nina’s way too damn clever!”

“So what now? Nina’s gone, and we can’t complete the potion,” Walter asked through gritted teeth.

“She’s gone, so what? As if a useless guy like you could ever catch her, Vincent replied, his tone flat and dismissive.

Walter didn’t know what to say.

Vincent raised his hand slightly. “Go. Find Ryan before Nina does, and kill him. If he manages to meet Nina alive, then you’re the king of losers.”

Walter was speechless.

‘What could I even say to that?’ Walter thought, feeling totally crushed.

He had no choice. If he didn’t want to be the biggest loser in Vincent’s eyes, he had to hurry up and find Ryan.

Walter nodded and rushed out.

After Walter left, Vincent turned his gaze toward the room by the main gate.

Ethan looked embarrassed. “Does she even need me to protect her?”

He felt completely defeated.

Nina and Elaine sat in the back, Simon took the wheel, and Ethan hopped into the passenger seat.
