Two girls pinned Hazel’s shoulders down, while Lily yanked her hair and said something. Nina and Ethan were too far to overhear.

Then, Lily flicked her cigarette into the ashtray and slapped Hazel hard across the face.

Ethan shot up, his voice thunderous with anger. “What the hell i Lily doing? Hazel’s a real Swanson heiress. Who does Lily think she is, hitting Hazel like that?”

Nina lounged back, drink in hand, watching Lily with a half-smirk.

She’d learned to read lips, so she caught every word Lily threw at Hazel.

“You little bitch,” Lily had said. “Think sucking up to Nina means she’ll protect you? Crushing Nina would be like squashing

an ant.”

Ethan tried to rush over to help Hazel, but Kevin and the others held him back.

“Chill, man. Maybe it’s just a misunderstanding. Lily’s still your sister,” Kevin said.

“Sister my ass,” Ethan snapped. “Nina’s the only sister I’ve got. Lily is nothing to me.”

“Even if you don’t see Lily as family, you can’t lose it. Did you see those girls hanging out with Lily? They’re all mean girls, and with the way they dress, their families must be loaded.

“Your folks don’t like you that much. If you piss them off, no one’s going to have your back,” Kevin warned.

Ethan fell silent. ‘Yeah, Lily has Vivian in her corner, but I have no one to back me up.

‘Lily is such a schemer. A few fake tears, and Vivian would fall for it every time. No matter what happened, Lily could spin it into a misunderstanding.

‘But Hazel is my cousin. How can I just stand there and let Lily push her around?’

While Ethan hesitated, Nina got up. She held an unfinished beer bottle in her hand, drinking as she walked.

Ethan stared at her, stunned. “Where are you going?”

Nina didn’t even look back. “Just itching to beat someone up.”

Before Ethan could process what was happening, Nina was in front of Lily, casually tapping her shoulder.

Lily, already pissed off, barked, “How dare you touch me? Got a death wish?”

But when she spun around and saw Nina, she froze, almost tripped over herself. “N-Nina? Why are you here?”

Hazel glanced up. But as soon as she spotted Nina, she quickly ducked her head, not wanting Nina to see the bruises on her

face.

Nina glanced at Hazel, then locked eyes with Lily, a wicked grin reading. “Why else would I be here?”

Suddenly, her smile vanished. Without warning, she smashed th beer bottle over Lily’s head.

Everything happened so fast that by the time people realized what went down, Lily was covered in broken glass and beer.

Ethan and his buddies stood frozen, staring at Nina in total shock.

After a long moment, Leo blurted, “Dude, Nina is wild.”

“That bottle… Lily’s head has to be killing her,’ he thought.

Lily never expected that Nina would smash that bottle over her head. Furious, she screamed, “Are you freaking insane, Nina?”

Her girls rushed forward, blocking Nina. A red-haired girl glared looking ready to kill. “Lily, who is this chick?”

Lily took a deep breath, scanning the room. With Ethan out of sight, she thought Nina was alone.

She coolly dabbed at the beer stains with a napkin, an evil smirk curling on her lips. “She’s the Swanson family’s real princess, the one they just dragged back home.”

With that, Lily turned to Nina, her eyes cold and vicious. “I’ve been waiting to teach you a lesson. Didn’t expect you to walk into it. Now, you’re paying for everything I’ve had to put up with

Lighting a cigarette, she continued, “Girls, grab her. Let’s have some fun.”

The girls closed in, boxing Nina.

Kevin and the guys got nervous. “Ethan, Nina is in deep trouble. We gotta help her,” he said.

Ethan, who’d been fired up moments ago, just sat down, totally chill. “No need. Let’s keep drinking.”

Leo’s eyes went wide. “Dude, your sister’s about to get her ass kicked, and you’re just gonna sit here?”

Ethan snorted, “It won’t be her getting beaten up.”

‘Lily and her crew think they can take on Nina? They have no clue what kind of badass she is. Lily’s doomed tonight,’ Ethan thought.

Even though he hated how Nina always resorted to violence, today, he wanted her to teach Lily a good lesson.

Meanwhile, Nina stood there, watching the girls close in, her smile growing more dangerous by the second.

Anyone who knew her could tell she was totally pumped. And when she got excited, someone was about to get wrecked.

Lily watched as her girls closed in on Nina, looking like she’d already won.

“Thought you were some big-shot fighter, Nina?” she sneered. “These girls aren’t amateurs. Let’s see how tough you really

are.

Hazel was a nervous wreck, her voice shaking as she called out, “Nina, run! These girls are seriously dangerous.”

Nina didn’t even blink. She just stood there, letting the girls clos in.

The moment one girl tried to grab her, she suddenly lifted her hot and kicked the girl flying.

Before anyone could even react, Nina sprang into action. One kik per girl, she sent all eight of them flying, leaving them lying scattered all over the ground.

Lily jerked upright, staring blankly at Nina, who hadn’t even broen a sweat.

Nina had her hands in her pockets, strolling slowly over to Lily.

Lily instinctively backed away, stammering, “W-What are you doing?”

Is Nina some kind of freak? How’d she take out all those girls so?’ she thought, almost losing it.

Nina stopped inches from Lily, grabbed her hair, and sneered, “Thought you could take me out, huh?”

“Let go!” Lily shrieked, her scalp on fire.

Just then, Lily’s crew jumped up, and the red-haired girl snarled. “You bitch, go to hell!”

With that, she snatched up a beer bottle and lunged at Nina.

But before she could even get close, Nina grabbed her by the throat, asking in a low voice, “What did you just call me?”

The redhead gasped for breath, spitting out through gritted teeth, “B-bitch, mess with me and you’re fucking dead!”
