Ryan snapped so fast that Lily didn’t even have time to process what was happening. She could barely breathe. “R-Ryan?” she choked out.

“What did you just call me?” Ryan’s grip tightened, and Lily’s eyes rolled back, her vision going white.

“M-Mr. Foster,” Lily stammered, her mind going fuzzy from lack of air. “I… I’m sorry. I was wrong.”

Ryan flung Lily to the ground and then pulled out a wet wipe to lean his hand. With chilling indifference, he said, “Get on your knees and apologize to Nina.”

Lily bit down hard on her lip, feeling utterly humiliated. She couldn’t hold back anymore and yelled, “Why should I? She’s just a shameless flirt. Why do I have to apologize to her?”

Ryan’s eyes went ice-cold, but before he could explode, Lily blurted out, “Ryan, don’t let her trick you. Nina’s not just with

you.

“She’s hooking up with you and fooling around with other men at the same time. The CEO of SN Corporation is keeping her as his mistress, and she’s even the owner of this nightclub. Have you ever stopped to think how she got all this?

“If she didn’t have men backing her, how could someone raised by a nightclub hostess ever get this far? Open your eyes, Ryan. Nina’s not even in your league.”
