“That’s right. She’s hooking up with the CEO of SN Corporation and that’s the only reason the Swanson family got that deal.” Lily said, squaring her shoulders. “Nina’s been playing you. She’s not worth it.”

Lily admired Ryan the most. Why should someone as dazzling him end up simping for Nina?’ Lily thought.

She’d never let Ryan fall for Nina.

She was dead set on ruining Nina’s reputation in Ryan’s eyes.

Ryan didn’t even look at Lily. He sat next to Nina, mirroring her posture, and ordered his bodyguards, “She’s clearly out of her mind. Snap her out of it.”

His bodyguards jumped into action, holding Lily down and grabbing bottles from the table, making her chug one after another.

Lily tried to say something, but her mouth was flooded with liquor. They didn’t let her get a single word out.

Lily was drowning in despair.

Lily thought, ‘Why is this happening? I already told Ryan that Nina’s no good. Why is he still taking it out on me?

‘Is he really that into Nina? She’s just some tramp raised by a nightclub hostess. What could he possibly see in her?

The bodyguards only stopped when Lily was on the verge of passing out.

“Get on your knees and apologize to Nina,” Ryan ordered, his voice cold as ice.

Lily was already half out of it, but when she heard that, she snapped back to her senses, wild-eyed. “I’m not apologizing. I’d rather die. I did nothing wrong. Nina’s nothing but a two-faced amp. She should drop dead.”

Ryan narrowed his eyes, showing his intimidating presence. “So this is the kind of daughter the Swanson family raised.”

Right after Ryan said that, Elaine chimed in, “Oh, the Swanson family’s precious daughter? So you’re the scammer who gave Nina that fake necklace? I remember the horrible makeup you wore. You still got the guts to show up here?”

Then Elaine shot Nina a frown. “Nina, what’s going on with you? You can’t even handle a useless girl like her?”

Nina sipped her drink, cool as ever. “I’m just having fun.”

Elaine chuckled. “That’s not really how you do things, is it?”

Nina was always the type to settle scores right then and there. She was not the kind to mess around or play games.

After all, Nina was very busy.

Nina arched her lips in a sly smile. “Guess I’ve got nothing better to do these days.”

Elaine let out a little ‘tsk. “Go ahead. Play her as slow as you want

“Trying to give fake stuff to Nina?” Ryan let out a cold laugh. “I b you’ve been making her life hard at the Swanson residence.

With that, Ryan ordered his bodyguards. “Pin her down and make her bump her head against the floor. Don’t stop until she begs for forgiveness. And when she finally cracks, we’ll go have a little chat with her family.”

The bodyguards pinned Lily down and forced her to bump heread against the floor.

Within moments, Lily’s forehead was red and swollen.

The pain was too much. After barely three times, she started crying out, “Let me go. I’m sorry, Nina, I was wrong.

“Not sincere enough.” Ryan said coldly as he stared at Nina, neve once looking Lily’s way.

Nina didn’t even spare Ryan a glance.

Instead, she turned her attention to the crew that had come in with Ryan.

As soon as they saw Nina, they rushed over and greeted her. “Hi. Nina.”

Nina didn’t respond, and the guys looked a bit embarrassed. They awkwardly settled in.

They had something to say to Nina, but with all this drama, now wasn’t the time. They just had to wait for Ryan to wrap things up.

With Ryan staying silent, the bodyguards just kept slamming Lily’s head on the floor.

Lily couldn’t take it anymore. She broke down, sobbing and screaming, “Ethan, help me. I’m your sister. You’ve got to save

me.”

Ethan, who’d been out of it ever since Elaine showed up, finally snapped back to his senses. He looked at Lily like she was something he’d scraped off his shoe.

“My only sister is Nina. Who do you think you are? What? You’re pawling your eyes out just because you have to apologize? Funny. You didn’t make this much noise when you were picking on Nina,” Ethan spat.

“I…” Lily tried to say something, but Ethan cut her off.

Ethan, clearly fed up, snapped, “If you want Nina to let you off, then show some real sincerity in that apology.”

Lily realized nobody was coming to her rescue, so she broke down in tears, crying out, “I’m sorry, okay? I really messed up. I swear, I’ll never mess with you again. Nina, please let me off.”
