Rhett opened his mouth, wanting to say something else. But under Elizabeth’s cold stare and the growing disgust and impatience from the crowd, he couldn’t get a word out.
No matter how thick–skinned he was, he
ouldn’t handle pressure from all sides. In the end, he glared at Elizabeth, muttered something no one could hear, and slipped out of the line with his head down.
He looked like a total loser.
The whole thing had been captured
n Viola’s livestream.
For over ten seconds, her comment section went strangely quiet.
It was like the comments had been wiped clean. A lot of viewers–whether they were just watching for fun, jumping on the hate bandwagon, or were still on the fence–were all stunned by the sudden public call–out and firm rejection.
A few seconds later, the comments started moving again, but the tone had clearly changed.
[Holy crap… She actually blacklisted him? And brought up his old posts?]
[This boss is savage. To be fair, those comments were pretty nasty.]
[Who does she think she is? Can’t people say anything anymore? If you’re that sensitive, don’t sell stuff!]
[Exactly! So petty! Blacklisting someone over a few mean comments proves she’s hiding something!]
[Lol, let her blacklist whoever. I wouldn’t eat those toxic crops from a garbage farm even if she paid me!]
[Someone’s acting tough. You sure one of those “hope it poisons people” comments wasn’t your alt account?]
[Why does this feel… kind of satisfying? The internet trolls finally met their match!]
Some people still questioned if she had the right to do that, and others mocked her “petty” or “sensitive Others kept acting tough, saying they wouldn’t touch her stuff.
Bur Viola could tell the tide was turning. That wave of mindless, one–sided hate and personal attacks had noticeably died down.

Clearly, Elizabeth’s tough “blacklist” move made some people, who used to act however they wanted behind a screen, start to think twice.
“What would you like to buy?” Elizabeth’s voice snapped Viola back to reality.
Viola quickly stepped forward and blurted out, “I–I’ve never said anything bad about you! I promise! You can check my stream and social media!”
Right after saying it, she realized how dumb that sounded, and her face instantly turned red.
Elizabeth noticed how desperate she was to clear her name and gave her a small smile. “I know. So, what can I get you?”
Viola breathed a sigh of relief. She finally remembered why she was there and said, a bit embarrassed, “I’d like some strawberries–oh, and some potatoes and sweet potatoes, too.”
At first, she had only planned to buy strawberries.
Two hundred of them.
One hundred for a giveaway on her stream.
One hundred to keep for herself.
But looking at the plump potatoes and sweet potatoes on the stall, and remembering what Matilda said about how good they were, she couldn’t help but want some of everything.
“Um, can I buy 200 strawberries? One hundred of them will be for a giveaway to my viewers. I want them to try it, too.”
Elizabeth nodded and pointed at the price sign. “You can buy as many as you want, but it’ll be charged by the tiered pricing. Got to stick to the rules.”
Viola glanced at the sign next to her and quickly started doing the math in her head.
For 200 strawberries: the first 100 cost 500 stellar coins each.
The next 100 cost 1,000 each.
So 200 strawberries would cost 150,000 stellar coins.
That was basically her entire month’s income, no food, no rent, nothing. It hurt just thinking
about it
But those strawberries are just too good!
