Chapter 314 Pending Atonement Area

Eugene spoke up right away, his voice firm, “It’s all real! My own son went through it. How could that be made up? The people there were arrogant and rude. They spoke badly and made it clear someone powerful was backing them. Other than the First Military, who else would it be?”
Gregory slowly shook his head. “I know you care about your child. But that’s exactly why we must stay careful. We need real proof. Proof that they were targeting members of the Fifth Military or purpose. because of some private rule they set, or because of a personal conflict with your son.”
After a short pause, he suggested a safer plan. “Here’s an idea. That farm is getting a lot of attention late and many people want to get in. We can send more people from our side there. Make sure their identit clearly show they belong to the Fifth Military, and let them try booking spots as well. Let them interact and observe what happens. If they also get blocked without any reason, then the idea that they’re / deliberately targeting the Fifth Military will almost be confirmed. At that point, with solid evidence, whether we approach the Hewitts or report to higher command, we’ll have facts backing us up. No one be able to argue against it. But if we act too soon, they might turn things against us. They could accuse u of making trouble out of nothing, or even say we’re spoiling our children and letting them cause proble outside.”
Gregory’s plan had clearly been thought through. He wanted to guard the military’s honor, but also avoi the chaos that could come from acting without thinking.
After all, the situation on Planet A001 was still unclear. Nobody fully understood what was happening at that farm, and the Hewitts‘ stance remained uncertain. It wasn’t the right moment to throw away caution and start an open clash.
Eugene and several other generals who had been especially heated still felt unsure, yet they couldn’t deny that Gregory’s reasoning made sense.
If the Hewitts really were working behind the scenes and deliberately targeting them, then sending younger members from other Fifth Military families would likely lead to the same rejection.
Once that happened and the proof was solid, they would have a much stronger reason to argue.
“That makes sense.” Eugene finally nodded. “Then we’ll organize a few more families and send some suitable juniors over. Tell them to stay low–key. They’re only there to test things, not cause trouble. We’ll wait and see what happens first!”
Many of the generals present quickly volunteered the younger members of their own families right here and there.
Part of the reason was to give those useless kids a chance to prove themselves.
Besides, even if they refused to believe those farm products could repair mental power, what if they actually could?
They were soldiers. Who among them didn’t suffer from some kind of mental power problem? If there was even a small chance it worked, then it might help them.
Meanwhile, on Planet A001, what used to be a silent wasteland had now turned into a lively oasis filled with

The open land cleared outside the farm looked nothing like it had a few days earlier. A temporary gathering zone had formed on its own, yet it was surprisingly well organized.
Close to the farm gate, a quieter section had been marked out.
Dozens of people gathered there, divided into two very different groups.
One group consisted of the lucky few who had already secured reservations and were now waiting for scheduled entry times.
Some sat while others stood. Most looked excited and spoke softly, their eyes drifting again and again toward the rich green scenery beyond the barrier.
A few had even brought simple outdoor tables and chairs, clearly preparing themselves for a long wait.
Fiona’s reservation desk was still in place, but now it only handled inquiries and verification. It no longer accepted new walk–in requests.
Behind her, a holographic display kept flashing a bold notice. “Today’s reservations are full. The earliest available booking date is ten days later.”
The farm allowed no more than 50 visitors each day.
But reservations had already been filled ten days in advance. That alone showed how many people had arrived over the past few days.
The second group looked very different.
Most of them lowered their heads or showed bitter, unwilling expressions. They stood farther away from the entrance and gathered near a massive electronic notice board.
That place was the “Pending Atonement Area.”
Kaleb and Levi were the first to register.
They had completely lost the proud attitude they once showed. Now, they looked like workers who had accepted their punishment, each controlling a bulky but powerful environmental repair robot.
