Chapter 184 A Shocking Truth
Without waiting for Lucas to respond, Damian’s gaze turned frigid, his voice dropping to a menacing growl cold enough to chill the entire room.
“Years of rigorous training have hardened her–conventional torture will likely fail to break her. But she loves Julian more than anything, and she’s determined to stay faithful to him. So we’ll take away the one thing she cherishes most.
“No need to go as far as violating her physically. Humiliate her completely, break her pride piece by piece, crush her self–respect into the dirt. Make her degrade herself for other men, and record every moment of it.”
Lucas let out a lazy, reckless laugh. “Sounds like plenty of entertainment to me.
“Rest easy, Damian. I’ll take good ‘care‘ of her, and make sure the job is done flawlessly.”
Weston shot Lucas a knowing glance. The notorious playboy was infamous for his ways with women, and he knew exactly what Lucas was capable of.
Damian was seething with rage, capable of anything in his
volatile state. Weston neither approved nor condemned the plan
Break Olivia.

anything was permissible.
A quiet thought lingered in Weston’s mind, however.
Olivia might still hold immense value. She could be the key to defusing the bitter conflict between Julian and Damian over Sophia, a critical pawn worth keeping intact.
After a moment’s consideration, Weston spoke to Lucas with solemn gravity
“Be extremely careful. She must never find out we’ve uncovered her true identity–any slip–up will ruin the entire plan.”
“Precisely!” Damian said, shooting Weston a look of approval. He’d always valued Weston’s sharp, cautious mind, and his trust was well–placed.
“She loves putting on an act?” Damian sneered, a flash of malice flashing in his eyes.
After a short silence, he continued, “If Uncle Julian dares lay a hand on what’s mine, I’ll make his woman pay dearly–so dearly he’ll regret it a thousand times over.
“I refuse to believe Julian feels nothing for her after ten years. Even a dog raised for that long sparks affection, let alone a trusted lieutenant. At the end of the day, Olivia is nothing more than a stand–in for Julian.

that mirrors my wife’s.”
Weston nodded in quiet understanding, while Lucas‘ expression shifted to one of sudden, clear realization.
Damian’s gaze drifted toward the window, a bitter, complicated ache settling heavy in his chest. After a long, quiet moment, he voiced his third and most pressing concern, his tone heavy with unspoken gravity.
“Third–the person who stabbed me is my wife, Sophia, also known as Vivian, my supposed aunt by marriage.”
“What?”
Lucas exploded with unbridled anger the second the words left
Damian’s mouth.
His fists clenched tight, disbelief etched across his face as he roared, “It was that woman? She failed to kill you last time, and now she stabs you again? What gives her the right? How dare she hurt you?
“Alright, so you made terrible mistakes in the past, but you’ve regretted them, apologized, and taken full responsibility, She’s the one who refuses to forgive you. For the first three years of your marriage, you loved her fiercely, spoiled her endlessly— she’s still your wife, no matter what.

With that, he surged to his feet and stormed toward the door, his fury so palpable it filled the room.
“Stop!” Damian commanded instantly. The sudden jolt of emotion sent a sharp pain through his healing body, triggering a fit of coughing, yet his voice held unyielding, unchallengeable authority.
Damian had known Lucas‘ hot temper would drive him to confront Sophia the moment he heard the truth.
Weston moved quickly to hold Lucas back, speaking in a steady, calming tone.
“Lucas, calm down. Let Damian finish–he wouldn’t tell us this without a clear plan. Don’t act rashly.”
While Weston too thought Sophia’s actions were unforgivable and felt a surge of protectiveness toward Damian, he understood all too well the obsessive hold Sophia had over his friend.
Damian would defend her at all costs and would never let anyone harm her.
He closed his eyes, bone–tired, burying every bit of bitterness deep inside. The temperature around him seemed to plummet, a cold, aloof distance radiating from him that kept the world at
bay.
