Her Revenge Was His Regret (Shirley and Gilbert) novel Chapter 100

Chapter 100

Wendy burst into tears. “Gilbert, she kicked me!”

Gilbert tried to pull her away, but couldn’t, and ended up sweating profusely.

“Sherry! Wendy is just a weak girl. How could you kick her? Didn’t I say you’re even?”

“You say we’re even, so we’re even? Who do you think you are?” Sherry rolled up her sleeves and started slapping Wendy across the face.

She only managed two slaps before Gilbert pulled her. With a sudden pull, Sherry fell to the ground. Although not as battered as Wendy, Sherry felt like her insides were about to churn.

The explosive force of the fight was followed by weakness. Sherry clutched her heart, feeling a momentary palpitation, and couldn’t breathe.

Henry noticed Sherry’s pale face and went over to ask, “How are you? Are you feeling unwell?”

Gilbert yelled at Henry, “Why are you asking her? What could be wrong with her? She’s capable of hitting Wendy! I think She didn’t take any of those medication. She’s just pretending. Why didn’t she fall before? She’s obviously faking it!”

“Gilbert, I’m a professional. Sherry’s face looks off…”

Gilbert interrupted abruptly. “She won’t die anytime soon. Wendy’s stuck here. This tub is so small. What if she suffers internal organ damage sitting in it?”

That would be tantamount to Sherry committing murder!

In a place like a hospital, he couldn’t protect Sherry.

For a moment, even Henry wondered if Gilbert liked Wendy.

But he immediately dismissed the idea.

No matter how bad Gilbert was, he couldn’t possibly like Wendy.

Sherry felt cold sweat pouring down her face and tried to grab Henry.

She was in so much pain, but she couldn’t speak. Henry didn’t move but instead pulled out his phone and

dialed 911.

Wendy saw Sherry in great distress, a glint of malice flashing in her eyes. “No! If other people see me like this, I’d rather be dead! I can’t bear the shame! Gilbert, the Mack family still needs to establish itself. If those people find out about this, they’ll laugh at me. We’ll carry this stain. I’ll never be able to hold my head up again!”

Wendy’s cries left Henry at a loss.

“Who dares to laugh at you? Who dares to touch the Mack family? I’ll make them disappear from Seaseat-

Then he ordered his bodyguards to cover Wendy. A group of people surrounded Wendy and left.

“Henry, what are you still standing there for? What if something happens to Wendy? You’ll need to take care of her.”

Henry instinctively wanted to chase after her, but when he turned back, he saw that Sherry had already fainted.

He was startled. “Gilbert, Sherry’s passed out! I need to get her to the ER!”

Gilbert’s impatient voice came from outside. “Sherry, are you ever going to stop? Are you trying to kill Wendy? Don’t worry about her. She’ll get up on her own after we leave.”

Henry didn’t believe Sherry was faking it.

Gilbert took all his men with him.

He didn’t leave anyone here. Henry had to carry Sherry to the ER alone.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, Wendy grabbed Gilbert’s hand, pretending to be asleep to take advantage of him.

He should have been hers. She should have dumped her ex-boyfriend sooner.

In the end, Sherry was lucky enough to have Gilbert.

Wendy pretended to sleep all night.

The next morning, as soon as she saw Gilbert awake, she started crying.

“Gilbert, I’m not clean anymore!” Wendy lay in bed, silently weeping. Unexpectedly, it was the fire department that sawed open the barrel.

Although they were very professional, she could still tell they were trying to laugh!

The thought filled her with rage. “Gilbert, I’ve made up my mind. I still want to send Sherry to jail. I’m calling the police! I can’t let her get away with it. It’s our fault she’s so willful!”

Gilbert’s worst fear had come true. “Wendy, Sherry was indeed in the wrong. I’ll make her apologize to you.”

Wendy’s hands were clenched so tightly they felt like they were about to break.
