Chapter 49

Yelena froze on the spot. “You’re the Campbell family’s adopted daughter? And you look like this?”
Teresa’s breathing quickened with anger. “What’s wrong with my looks? You rich kids must have had all sorts of plastic surgery since you were little, that’s why you’re only slightly prettier than me! At least I’m all-natural!”
Her words earned her two slaps!
Teresa hadn’t been beaten since being adopted by the Campbells.
She glanced at Bryan and cried out, “Bryan, help me!”
Yelena turned around, frowning. “Bryan?”
Bryan, seeing Teresa pinned to the ground, immediately flew into a rage. “Screw you! What right do you have to bully Teresa!”
Bryan was built and had a bad temper. When he pushed Yelena, her face turned deathly pale. But she was already stained with ink, making it unnoticeable. She instinctively reached out to block him.
The moment Yelena was pushed down by Bryan, Sherry caught her.
Yelena’s hands were ice-cold.
“Bryan, Sherry made a female friend somewhere. She deliberately took my usual beauty room and called me a shameless bitch without a mother. I couldn’t stand it, so I fought them.”
“Bullshit! You took the room. Besides, when did I ever insult your mother? Don’t spread rumors. I hit you because you threw ink on us.”
Yelena snapped back to reality and started to talk back.
Teresa hid behind Bryan like a fragile little bird. “Bryan, you know I’m weak and kind. How could I do such a thing? Sherry must have said bad things about me to her, so she has a grudge against me. But please don’t slander me!”
Teresa’s words brought back painful memories for Yelena.
Yelena suddenly experienced ringing in her ears, biting her tongue tightly to force herself to stay
conscious.
She still needed to protect Sherry.
Bang!
Sherry kicked Bryan in the stomach, causing Teresa behind her to fall backward, both of them landing on the ground.
Terasa, pinned beneath Bryan, let out a long fart and then lost control of her bladder.

Chapter 49
Bryan felt a warm sensation on his back. Then came the stench of urine and filth.
The people around noticed. Soon, everyone started laughing.

Bryan was such a good brother. He draped his clothes over Teresa and yelled at the crowd, “What are you laughing at? Are you blind? Instead of condemning them, you’re mocking the victim. Are you even human?”
How could people have become so heartless?
“You make it sound like your sister is innocent. If she’s innocent, did these two girls pour the ink on themselves?”
Bryan then noticed Sherry and Yelena’s disheveled appearance.
“Bryan,” Teresa shook her head. She didn’t say anything, but it was as if she said everything. She meant she hadn’t done anything like that.
Bryan always blindly defended Teresa. Because Teresa had once saved him, he believed she was the kindest girl in the world, incapable of doing anything wrong.
How could someone who saved him be a bad person?
“I haven’t settled the score with you for hitting me last time, Sherry. This time, I’ll make you submit, so you’ll never be able to cause trouble for Teresa again.”
Bryan used the explosive power of his calf muscles to kick Sherry directly. If Sherry were kicked, she would definitely be injured, perhaps even breaking a few bones.
No one could withstand that kick.
Suddenly, someone rushed over and executed a sliding tackle, the kind of tackle often described online as rarely seen in real life, sinking Bryan to the ground. He fell unconscious.
The person stylishly dusted off imaginary dust and shook her head.
“Girl, are you alright?”
Looking at the two people in front of her, their faces obscured by darkness, she almost bit her tongue,
They wanted to confirm if this person was actually a woman.
Sherry looked up. “Thank you.”
The person who helped them was actually a girl.
She was taller than Yelena, her flowing hair giving her a cool and stylish beauty.
Sherry said, “You…”
“It’s good that you’re alright.”
