“You can call the police about her kicking you. But you have to come with us now.”
Teresa was furious. Was she really going to go to the police station again?
Edward froze. Had Teresa really lied?
Why?
Teresa had always been incredibly innocent and kind. Why would she do something like this?
He was so shocked that he didn’t even react to Teresa’s cries for help.
Teresa thought she would be scared, but instead, she saw a handsome guy at the police station.
“Hey, beautiful. What did you do?”
Teresa was immediately captivated by his appearance. She didn’t like “good boys.”
The so-called “good boy” was the kind of aloof or domineering man in this circle.
He liked boys with dyed hair, wearing motorcycle jackets and tight pants, and exuding a carefree, flamboyant style.
Tyrone used to be like that.
Teresa had once dressed up beautifully to confess her feelings to Tyrone. But to her surprise, the usually kind Tyrone coldly told her to get lost.
That time, her pride was shattered.
“My name is Liam Hunt. Beauty, what’s your name? What did you do?”
Teresa, though secretly pleased, still maintained a virtuous image, hurling insults at Sherry.
Liam understood immediately upon hearing Sherry’s name. “You’re a Campbell?”
“They say I’m their family. But when it really matters, they ignore me and look down on me because I’m adopted.” Teresa was furious at this thought, feeling that her kindness towards them was unworthy.
Liam lifted Teresa’s chin with his finger. “Shall I take you out?”
“You’re right here. How can you take me out?” Teresa’s tone held a hint of coquettishness.
Liam had connections. With just a few words, he got her out of jail, without even being questioned.
Teresa immediately became incredibly enamored with him.
Liam shook his hair and lifted Teresa’s chin with his finger. “Be my woman. I promise to give you the life you want, and if there’s anyone you don’t like, I’ll make them pay for it. Okay?”

Teresa’s eyes lit up at those words. Liam was clearly no ordinary man. She felt his love had blossomed. “Really?”
“I never lie. But you have to let me collect some interest first.”
Teresa was completely captivated by Liam’s seductive voice.
Before she could nod, Liam carried her into the room.
As Yelena squeezed through the crowd, she saw Sherry. “Sherry, where have you been? Did someone really bother you?”
Sherry had just asked her to invest for her if she left.
“It’s nothing. I just taught two bastards a lesson. Is everything done?”
“Of course. Don’t worry!” Yelena patted her chest proudly.
“Then let’s go have some fun.”
Yelena pulled Sherry onto the dance floor. Sherry wasn’t particularly interested in this, so she found a seat.
Edward approached her at some point. “Sherry, I’m sorry. I don’t know why Teresa did this.”
Sherry began to wonder if the Campbells were all idiots.
“Two tigers can’t share one mountain. She wants to be the only one pampered in this family. What other reason does she need?”
Edward immediately retorted. “Impossible. She’s not that kind of person!”
“Maybe everyone makes mistakes.” Edward couldn’t even keep up his own excuse.
“Since you think that way, why did you come to me? Go find your sister. Oh, I forgot she’s been taken away by the police.”
Edward knew he was arguing, and he knew Teresa was definitely lying, but he didn’t want to think that way.
“Stay away from me. I don’t want to see you right now. After all, I don’t like blind idiots.”
Blind idiot?
