Chapter 72
Luckily, he was tall and strong. Most people couldn’t do that.
However, after wiping his sweat, he noticed many people staring at him.
Were they envious of his perfect execution?

Until Scott handed over something. “Mr. Bode, we found a camera. This camera seems quite important. They’ve been looking for it.”
Gilbert’s blood ran cold when he saw what was inside the camera. They had all thought Sherry was going
crazy.
They never expected them to do such things to Sherry!
He slammed his hand on the coffee table and kicked a pillar with a loud thud. He almost broke a bone, but he didn’t realize it.
Scott covered his mouth, and Keith jumped up. “These people are animals! I won’t let them get away with this! Start with Wendy!”
In Keith’s heart, Sherry was still his good friend. Only Sherry didn’t hate his personality like others.
Gilbert stopped him. His eyes were bloodshot and filled with boundless hatred. “You go deal with Jean and Liam first. Do whatever you want with Jean. As for the Hunts, you, on behalf of the Bode family, completely blacklist them. I’ll make them wish they were dead!”
Keith, radiating murderous intent, led his men away.
Gilbert composed himself, transforming into a rational devil, but appearing even more terrifying. “You come with me to the Campbell Villa.”
The Campbell Villa.
Teresa was crying incessantly. The Campbells took turns comforting her until she fell asleep.
Joseph, displaying the authority of the head of the family, slammed his fist on the table. “What exactly does Sherry want? Does she have to kill Teresa?”
Bryan was still furious. If he could see Sherry, he would want to strangle her with his own hands. “We couldn’t bear to hurt Teresa. Sherry dared to beat Teresa like this. I think she really is tired of living!”
Edward, unusually, didn’t join the others in blaming Sherry. “I think we shouldn’t believe one side of the story before we have a complete understanding of the situation.”
Claire stood up. “She did this to Teresa and hasn’t shown up yet. Isn’t she guilty? I’m going to get an explanation from Sherry! This time I’m going to lock her in the basement and punish her. It’s all my fault for not teaching her well!”
Before she could even start her tirade, Gilbert walked in.

Initially, they really wanted to rely on him. Their feigned kindness towards Sherry was just a ploy to get Gilbert’s help.
But unexpectedly, Gilbert put down his glass and said that even if they were given resources, the Campbells wouldn’t be worthy of them.
Besides, they hadn’t been good to Sherry.
Because of this remark, they resented Sherry, believing she was sowing discord and portraying them as bad people.
They believed Sherry was behind their lack of success all these years.
But no matter how much they hated Sherry, they were no match for Gilbert. They could only respectfully welcome him inside.
Claire, however, snorted. “What? You’re here to apologize for Sherry? Let me tell you, she hurt Teresa. Unless she gets 50 lashes from Joseph, we’ll never forgive her. Even your apology won’t change anything.”
Edward frowned. “Mom, don’t talk nonsense. How could an ordinary person withstand 50 lashes?”
Claire scoffed. “She’s not an ordinary person. She’s incredibly thick-skinned. Otherwise, how could she have survived this long?”
Gilbert took a deep breath, wishing he could pack them all up and throw them out. “Is this how you usually treat Sherry?”
Although he knew they didn’t get along, he hadn’t expected them to be so rude.
Joseph rolled his eyes at Claire. “She’s from the countryside and doesn’t know how to talk. Don’t mind her. But Sherry really did make a mistake. How could she lay a hand on Teresa?”
“That’s what Teresa told you?” Gilbert smiled.
Scott, who had been worked for him the longest, shuddered.
