Hired a Gigolo Got a Billionaire (Zoey and Christian) novel Chapter 352

Chapter 352

The chapel doors opened, and the first thing I heard was the soft sound of the organ echoing through the stone walls. The familiar melody filled the air, but it was the sight in front of me that truly stole my breath.

Nate stood at the altar, flawless in his black tuxedo, his hands clasped in front of him. But it was the look on his face that sent my heart racing. His green eyes were locked on mine with an intensity that felt powerful enough

top time itself, a gentle smile playing on his lips as if he were watching a miracle unfold right before him.

“Ready, my daughter?” my father whispered at my side, offering his arm with that mix of pride and bittersweet emotion only fathers of brides ever seem to carry.

I nodded, still unable to take my eyes off Nate, and we began our walk down the center aisle.

Ahead of us, Ginger trotted proudly, a small velvet pillow strapped to her back, carrying our rings as if she fully understood the importance of her mission. Her golden fur glowed under the light streaming through the stained -glass windows, and every now and then she glanced back, as if making sure we were still following.

The bridesmaids were already in place. Zoey looked radiant. Gwen stood elegant and smiling. Sarah wore that natural sweetness that defined her. Even Tori had set her reservations aside and looked genuinely happy for us. On the men’s side, Christian maintained his solemn posture with a proud smile, Matthew was clearly fighting back tears, Oliver made a ridiculous face just to make me laugh, and Jake-Nate’s childhood friend, had flown all the way from New York just to be there.

But when I looked at the pews, my emotions truly swelled. Familiar, beloved faces turned toward me with genuine joy. In the third row, I spotted colleagues from Kensington who had traveled from London. The company had covered everything so they could be there. Farther back, childhood friends from Verdania waved discreetly, their wide smiles bringing back shared stories and precious memories.

In the front row, my heart tightened with emotion. Marcus, seated beside Joseph and Lucy, gave me a small wave, his blue eyes shining with pure happiness. Next to them, my mother held Matt in her arms, my nephew dressed in a tiny suit that made him look like a miniature gentleman.

On the other side of the aisle, Richard and Elizabeth Carter watched with obvious pride. She discreetly dabbed her eyes with a lace handkerchief, while he wore that warm, paternal smile that showed just how fully they had welcomed me into their family.

With every step forward, I felt the weight of my dress’s train behind me, but also the lightness of being exactly where I was meant to be. The white flowers lining the pews released a soft fragrance, and the colored light filtering through the stained glass created an almost magical atmosphere.

When we finally reached the altar, my father stopped and turned to me. His eyes were wet, but his smile was pure pride.

“She’s all yours now,” he said to Nate, placing my hand in his. “Take good care of her.”

“As if she were my own life,” Nate replied, his voice thick with emotion.

My father kissed my forehead and whispered, “Be happy, my girl.”

Then it was just Nate and me, standing before the altar, the priest smiling warmly at us. Ginger sat at our feet, clearly proud of a mission well accomplished.

“You look absolutely breathtaking,” Nate whispered, his eyes roaming over my face as if he wanted to memorize every detail. “I can’t stop looking at you.”

“You look incredible too,” I whispered back, feeling tears sting my eyes. “So much so that I’m going to carry this moment with me forever.”

“Dear guests,” the priest began, his voice echoing through the chapel, “we are gathered here today to celebrate t’ union of Annabelle Bennett and Nathaniel Carter in holy matrimony…”

The priest’s words blended with the sound of my own heartbeat. I vaguely heard mentions of love, commitment, and partnership, but my attention never left the man in front of me. His eyes never strayed from mine throughout the ceremony, as if we were wrapped in our own private bubble amid all those guests.

When it was time for the vows, Nate spoke about how I had changed his life, how becoming a father by my side was his greatest dream, and how he promised to love me through every stage of life ahead. I replied by telling him how he had taught me that true love meant choosing the same person every single day, and how I couldn’t wait to build our family together.

“The rings, please,” the priest said.

Ginger sprang to her feet immediately, as if she’d been waiting for that cue. Oliver crouched down to untie the pillow from her back, and she stood there patiently, clearly proud of her very important role.

“With this ring, I take you as my wife,” Nate said, sliding the gold band onto my finger with slightly trembling hands.

“With this ring, I take you as my husband,” I repeated, my own voice thick with emotion.

“By the power vested in me,” the priest said with a broad smile, “I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.”

Nate didn’t hesitate for even a second. His hands framed my face, and the moment our lips met, the world around us simply disappeared. It was a gentle kiss, full of promises and love, sealing not just our union, but the beginning of the family we were about to create.

When we pulled apart, the chapel erupted in applause. Ginger barked once, as if adding her official seal of approval, and I couldn’t stop myself from laughing through the happy tears streaming freely down my face.

I looked around at all the smiling faces of everyone gathered to celebrate this moment with us. I saw Zoey discreetly wiping her eyes, Matheus wearing a proud smile, my mother waving with Matteo in her arms, and Nate’s parents clearly moved by the scene.

This was it. This was exactly what happiness meant. It wasn’t just the absence of problems or the presence of good things. It was this perfect moment, surrounded by people I loved, standing beside the man I chose to share my life with, carrying within me the promise of our growing family.

“Mrs. Carter,” Nate murmured softly, his smile so bright it felt like it could light up the entire chapel.

“Mr. Carter,” I replied.

He offered his arm, and together we started back down the aisle, now husband and wife, while Ginger trotted proudly ahead of us, still carrying her empty pillow like a trophy.
