Beta Liam

It’s been 3 weeks since Bethany and little Bella arrived here and I’d be lying if I said it’s been easy. Don’t get me wrong, I’d never regret finding out Beth is my mate nor would I want to change her being my mate.

But being around her when she has no idea, I’m her mate is hard. She looks older than 15 but I don’t see anything s****l in her and I know I won’t until she’s of age but it would be impossible for me to ignore how truly beautiful, she is.

Her long blonde hair reaches just above her bum, her big blue doe eyes sparkle like the ocean, add in her wicked personality and loving nature and you’ve got the perfect mate. Well, my perfect mate anyway. Even the way she is with Bella is a massive plus for me, it just shows how incredible she will be when we have our own pups one day.

I’m not sure what the arrangements will be regarding Beth and Bella when she moves on to my floor with me but I do know that I am more than happy to have Bella with us anytime, the bond they share is honestly amazing to watch and I would never come between that and in all honestly, I have grown a soft spot for the little cutie myself.

So yeah, there’s nothing I would change about Beth. Not even her age, I know you’d think I would but in all honestly, I truly believe this was meant to be, I’m not sure why exactly but being able to bond with her before she knows is definitely a bonus.

The only downside is having to watch Jake f*****g summers drool over her every second of every bastard day. Honestly, that guy is seriously getting on my last nerve, yes, he’s only 15 but still f**k off mate.

I know he’s hoping she’ll be his mate but he doesn’t turn 18 for another 3 years either and I’m not sure I can sit back and watch his constant drooling over my girl for that long. Thankfully she’s not interested, it’s clear for everyone to see and I couldn’t be any more grateful for that.

“Ok everyone I want you to pair up and practice defence,” I holla out to all the wolves that attend this training class. I train a few different classes varying in ages and ranges of strength and that includes the 12-16-year-olds and yes that includes Bethany. I’ll give it to my girl she is incredibly strong, Brooke told me she was a s**t hot fighter and she wasn’t kidding, No one in this class can keep up with her.

“Bethany!” I shout out as I make my way towards her, at the same time that prick Jake is making a beeline for her, NOT f*****g HAPPENING!

“Hey.” She beams my way.

“You’re partnering up with me today little wolf, I want to see how much you can give.”

“She’s my partner today sorry Beta.” Jake faces me with a sly cocky grin as he speaks.

“Sorry Jake, if Beta Liam wants me to train with him then I can’t refuse that!” His cocky smile soon turns to a pissed-off one and I have to hold back the gloating smile that I want to shove down his throat.

“You are with Gemma, she’s waiting!” I use my Beta tone and he bows before stomping off.

“Thank you for that Liam, I didn’t want to be his partner!’ She genuinely looks relieved and it doesn’t sit well with me.

“What do you mean Beth?”

“I know Jake has a crush on me, he’s told me many times and I’ve always told him that nothing will happen between us, nicely of course but he doesn’t seem to be listening and the last thing I want is him training with me!” It’s taking everything in me not to knock him the f**k out right now.

“Well, I’m glad I was able to help you but I genuinely want you to train with me today, you’re the top fighter in this class, and I’m starting to think you’re no longer going to benefit from this group so I want to see everything you’ve got and I mean everything, no holding back. If my instinct is right and you’re capable of what I think you are then I want to speak to Alpha about moving you to the next class up, I train them and I think you’d do well in that group and learn a lot!”

“Wow really? So, if I did move, you’d still train me?”

“Yes, really little wolf, you are one s**t hot fighter and I honestly believe you could go far in the older and more experienced group and yes I would still be training you, don’t worry I would never deprive you of your daily Liam fix!” She rolls her eyes at me with a small giggle and I can’t help but smile at her cuteness.

1 hour later and class is finished. As I suspected Bethany is extremely talented in her fighting abilities, she got me to tap out more times than any she-wolf has before and I wasn’t going easy on her, in fact, I had her fight 2 of our top warriors and she also had them tapping out more than once.

“Hey, Bet- I mean Liam, do you know where Ashley is?” I smile at her finally fixing the Beta issue and she does the same.

“I think he’s in town with Kelly, how?”

“Ahh ok no problem, if you see him can you ask him to phone me, please?”
