“You have got to be f*****g kidding me!” The words leave my mouth before my brain has had time to catch up. Everyone’s eyes are twitching between me, Liam and Sarah while Marcus has the look of the devil on his face.

“This is nothing to do with you, Bethany!” Sarah gives me a snide grin when she looks my way and I want nothing more than to smack it off her face.

Tonight has been one f**k up after another including Marcus finally admitting the truth to me. I don’t give a f**k about his confession about wanting me as his Luna, however, thinking he killed my family and having him admit it are two completely different things and I want nothing more than to tear him apart!

That mixed with knowing what they have done to Liam has anger running through my veins that I know I won’t be able to control for much longer. Sarah hasn’t admitted the truth yet but I believe it is true, I’m so f*****g angry for Liam and what she put him through but the part of me that is reminding me of my crush is winning over everything else and my relief is unbelievable!

Even now in this situation, my mind takes me back to the hope that he could still be my mate, now’s really not the time for this Bethany!

“Pregnant or not speak to her like that again and I’ll rip your f*****g throat out!” Brooke spits out to Sarah as she still has a hold on her throat.

“Even if you are pregnant, it’s not mine and you know it, Sarah!” Liam speaks up, his face covered in anger and frustration.

“I am pregnant and it is your pup, Liam!” She smiles his way as if she is completely oblivious to her surroundings while every single person in the room looks ready to end her aside from Marcus, I’ve heard she is used to getting her own way in life and messing with people but this time she’s f****d with the wrong people and she’s going to regret it, that I am sure off!

It’s taking everything in me not to tear Sarah apart right now. I don’t hurt women lightly and even after I realised, she isn’t my real mate, that she has done something to me, even then hurting her never entered my head.

But this, faking having my pup, this is too far, there’s no way this pup is mine and honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s faking the whole thing.

But just the idea that she’s willing to do this, to let me believe I’m going to be a dad brings out anger in me I’ve not known before.

“We’ve not mated or marked each other so this is bullshit and you know it!” I spit out at Sarah as I continue to make my way towards her.

“We haven’t marked each other but we have mated Liam!” It’s all lies and she knows it and I’m eager to find out how far she will take this.

“And when exactly was this, Sarah? Please do tell me? I’m just dying to know!” She tries to keep a calm reassured look on her face but I can see she is slowly cracking.

“It was the first night we meet Liam, you were drunk so I doubt you’ll remember!” Yes, I’ve got her!

“Oh really, now, are you sure about this?” Keep digging a hole Sarah keep digging.

“Yes really, I’d never lie to you, Liam!” I actually laugh out loud at this point because all this girl has ever done is lie to me.

“Well, that’s funny Sarah and let me tell you why. You see the night we met I was drunk, fairly drunk to be honest, that was until we found each other and this made-up bond, thinking I had found my mate sobered me up very quickly and I stayed awake until the early hours watching you sleep because I thought I was happy to have finally met my mate. So, no, we didn’t mate that night Sarah and we haven’t since so would you like to tell us the truth while you still have a chance?”

She’s not quick enough to hide the shock from gracing her face as she realises what I know before she pouts out trying to look hurt. If she doesn’t start telling the truth soon then she will really know how it feels to be hurt, I can see the eagerness in their eyes and I know one word from me and the girls will tear her apart.

“Why are you denying me and your pup Liam? Why would you do that?” She screws up her face as if she’s going to cry but her eyes are as dry as mine.

“Annabella, would you be able to tell us if she is pregnant?” Cal quickly asks, this is why he’s Alpha, always one step ahead.

She lets us know she can and Alpha sets her to it straight away, Sarah tries to protest it but Brooke still has a firm grip on her and she’s not letting up anytime soon. Annabella stands in front of Sarah and raises her hands until they line up with Sarah’s stomach and immediately starts chanting some words looking straight at Sarah as I make my way to Calvin’s side, it feels like hours before she stops and faces us but it’s only been minutes.
