“So, we’re all agreed, yes?” Cal asks.

“Yes!” chimes Jack.

“Dam right!” I add.

“Brilliant, I’ll let Brooke know, Jack you can let Ashley know in advance if you’d like, we’ve got the BBQ tomorrow night so I’m thinking we do this the following day as Alpha Romero and his Luna Tiffany will be here along with Alpha Tito and they can witness the event!” Both Jack and I nod our agreement.

We’ve been in my lounge for the past 2 hours working out the plans and finally, we have settled on a plan for Marcus, Sarah and Beta John. We’re still unsure about what to do with Jacoby but have decided to seek Beta john’s advice, he knows more about Jacoby than any of us as he was living with him when they were Rogues, hopefully, his advice can shed some light on the situation for us.

Annabella left yesterday but has offered her help at any time which is great, she’s been a huge help with everything that has gone on, I doubt I’d have my memories back yet if it weren’t for her.

“Liam, what I tell you next has to remain a secret ok? Calvin already knows but I couldn’t tell you at the time.” Jack looks nervous but I can see a smirk starting to form at the corner of his mouth.

“Of course brother, what is it?”

“Tomorrow night at the BBQ…I’m going to propose to Ashley!” He’s now beaming and I don’t blame him.

“Holy f**k, that’s amazing Jack, I’m so happy for you!”

“I planned to do it on his birthday but then the explosion happened, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before but we weren’t sure what was going on with you!” He looks sad but he has nothing to feel bad about.

“No need for apologies brother, I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the same, don’t take this the wrong way but I’m kind of glad that you didn’t get to do it yet, I love you both and I’d be gutted if I didn’t get to celebrate that moment with you both as myself!”

“Honestly, I’ve been thinking the same since it happened, which is why I waited, hoping you’d get your memories back before I do it.”

“Oh, Cal when you have time can you let me know how much I owe for Bethany while I was…unable to pay it and include her school tuition, please? I’m so mad at myself for not paying it straight away when you first told me!” He looks shocked for a moment before his brotherly smile spreads wide across his face.

“You don’t need to worry Liam, her school’s paid for and everything is so-!” Once he sees the look on my face, he doesn’t even bother finishing his sentence.

“I’m paying, it’s happening. I know it’s been a while so I don’t mind waiting for you to get the numbers together but I will be paying you back and I’ve got the new card I ordered in my room, I’ll give it to you later and you can use that from here on out, ok?”

Thankfully he gives up trying to argue it pretty quickly and we are soon finished with the meeting which is great timing for me, I have something I need to do before Bethany gets back from school and I should have just enough time.

Bethany

School has dragged today, seriously every lesson has been a f*****g bore, Katie has fallen asleep twice and if I hadn’t woken her up, she would be facing detention after school. “Ok class before we start today’s class, I have some news that I think you will all be very happy about!” Mr. Howard instantly has everyone’s attention including Katie’s which really makes a change.

“After a long chat with the principal, mostly me bragging about how well you guys are doing he has agreed a special field trip is in order!” A field trip means time away from school…I’m listening, he drags out telling us where the trip will take place and it’s slowly pissing me off.

“This July we are taking a 10-day field trip to…PARIS!” He shouts out the last part and we all quickly join in with the cheering and shouting, the excitement from everyone is bouncing off the walls and no one gets any work done as no one can keep their excitement in. During the class I catch quick glances of Katie looking a bit sad and distracted but the moment she notices my attention she masks it but I already know what’s wrong.

“Katie, are you worried you won’t be able to go?” I link her as no one needs to hear her business.

“I know I won’t be able to Beth, there’s no way my parents will be able to afford that kind of money!” I knew it would be that.
