Adrian POV
“Daddy!”
“Phoebe!” I called back.
My twelve-year-old and fourteen-year-old came running towards me. Phoebe is the most vocal, and Irene is the calmest of my six pups. Sinclair was mad when she became pregnant a third time, and we were having twins again. She ran after me with clippers, saying she was going to castrate me. I guess she really did mean it after Phoebe and Ian were born. Now we have our two precious daughters and four sons. Each set is two years apart.
Phoebe is a complete daddy’s girl, and I am not mad. The boys cling to Sinclair. I don’t blame them. I cling to her too. Especially at night, and definitely after a Victoria’s Secret day with the rest of the Willis women.
Phoebe jumps on me and gives me a huge hug. “Daddy, I want to start working with weapons at the training facility with Irene, but she said I’m not allowed!” she pouted.
I chuckled, “Pheebs, you know the rules; no weapons training until you are thirteen.”
“It’s not fair! I’m better at hand-to-hand combat than Irene,” she said, and Irene rolled her eyes.
“Sis, I hold back with you. You’re not better, but you are adequate for your age,” she said, and seriously, Irene reminds me of Sinclair. She is always speaking older than her age. I don’t want to think about when she gets mated, but I hope she is mated to someone who can bring her back to her actual age.”
I heard chuckling coming, and I know that voice from anywhere. That, and her delicious scent that keeps driving me crazy, even after being together for over a decade.
“Phoebe, I already told you next year. Your father will not dare override me,” Sinclair said, looking directly at me. “Will you, my bliss?”
I smiled at her, because I felt her desire in the bond. “Wouldn’t dream of it, Little Sin.”
I sat down and put Phoebe on my lap, who was still pouting. “Pheebs, your mother doesn’t even let your other brothers train with weapons. Only Phoenix and Irene train because they are of age. Ask Ian, Sean, or Reis if they train. They will tell you they don’t.”
She groaned and continued pouting. Sinclair smiled at our daughter and me.
‘She is definitely your daughter,’ Sinclair told me in our link.
‘She still has a lot of your stubbornness and determination, Little Sin.’
She chuckled in the link and then spoke to both of them. “Girls, you both need to get to school. Your brothers are downstairs waiting.”
