Chapter 130: Keith’s dilema

The second reason I was nervous about my relationship with Jasmine was because of Jasmine’s ex; Chairman Acland himself.

Whilst Jasmine couldn’t understand Keiths actions. I could. I knew the actions of a jealous man when I saw them. That man wanted her back. That’s why he was pulling all these stunts lately. Always trying to see her, asking for joint custody, etc. It was only going to get worse.

What I couldn’t understand was the level of greed he had. He had a lover whom he chose over Jasmine but all of a sudden he wanted Jasmine back now that she left him. Like dude, pick a side.

Helping Jasmine fight against Keith would help me as well. To ensure I could keep dating her with no issues, of course.

KEITH’S POV

SUNDAY AFTER GO-KART FIASCO

I moved around my estate gardens feeling a little tired. I couldn’t stop thinking about how Friday had gone with Anthony and Jasmine.

"Why do you hate mum and me?" I recalled Anthony’s words to me.

"This isn’t a game Keith you can’t forget Anthony and then suddenly pop back into his life," I recalled Jasmines words.

They were both right. Even if I had been upset with Jasmine in the past the way I had completely left Anthony was wrong. I now planned to make things right.

What’s more I found myself thinking about Jasmine for some reason. I recalled her getting injuredon Friday. Picking her up and carrying her, the way her silky, smooth legs looked and felt. Her green eyes and her brown hair. I recalled the time she was used to live with me at the estate. Happier times between us when she was all mine.

Immediately I shrugged the thoughts out of my mind. Why was I thinking this? Why did I feel this way?

I then reached a terrace island in the middle of the gardens. I found Diana, Marco and Diana’s head maid seated inside at a table. She was having some snacks together with him.

I recalled what they had been like on that Friday as well. I hadn’t anticipated Diana and Jasmine to meeting on Friday. I almost had a heart attack as I received the news that she was coming to the resort from one of my bodyguards. I had been so nervous when Diana found out some of the secrets I had been keeping from her about Jasmine. I had no explanation to give her so I just owned up to it when she confronted me about it.

I thought for sure, she was going to be mad at me.

However, she surprisingly forgave me and even wanted to make love that day. How lucky I was...

I had promised I wouldn’t take sides and make Diana feel alienated anymore. I knew I should stop keeping things from her. I still found myself wanting to keep things

I was about to turn away fromwhere I stood and return to the mansion when Diana then looked my way, noticing me. She waved her hand over for me to come.

Slowly I made my way to the island.

"Hey darling," greeted me upon my arrival.

"What are you two up to?" I asked.

"Justing getting a little sunshine," Diana explained.

"Oh is that so Marco," I then asked him.
