.....So basically if we find Diana we find Anthony. I have my men going through as many sources as possible looking for Anthony and Diana," Keith infirmed me.

"Look Keith, thank you for finding and saving me. I appreciate it," | sincerely expressed my gratitude. " ...but I have to go. We can discuss our findings of search for Tony in parallel."

I had to return to my apartment and talk to Louis. I'm sure he was also looking into things as well.

"Jasmine you're not going anywhere," he said calmly as he continued drinking from his glass. "Youre still recovering there are still weeks before the poison is completely out of your system and your foot is injured."

I'm sure I can recover just fine on my own at home," I pointed out to him. "I'll also have Louis to help me."

"There's no need for that because you will be well taken care of here." he told me. My eyes darkened after that sensing something was very wrong.

"Keith, what are you doing? why am I here? And why were you take me instead of Louis?" I demanded him to explain. I was sure Louis had tried to take me. So why was I here?

"I told him not to interfere in our affairs and to leave and forget about you," he told me.

My face scrunched up in anger

"And who gave you the authority to make that decision on my behalf?" I asked him.

"Jasmine what's happening to us is a family affair. Anyhow We will find Anthony there is no need to involve other people.

"Except Louis has been better father to Anthony than you ever were. Even before I filed for divorce you never ," I snapped at him. "He actually spends time with him and talks to him. Youn"

My face change to one of shock and horror. "No," I told him. "I refuse. Why are you doing this!?" I asked utterly baffled by his actions. What would possibly make him want to keep me at his side like this? I thought of how this court order he had requested would make him look.

"Look Jasmine you might have doubts about this but I'm just doing what's best for our family," he saidas if he was doing something . "Cut our losses."

"No, no, let's get one thing straight. You don't care about anyone else but yourself! This isn't about what's best for our family you're doing what's best for YOU," I called him out. " You're embarrassed that things didn't work out with Diana and now you're trying to save face by forcing me to be in cahoots with your little plan but I want nothing to do with you!"

His lips pressed together and his eyes narrowed which told me my assessment of his behavior was spot on. It would be embarrassing for him to move around with everyone knowing he dumped his wife for a mistress and a child that didn't even belong to him. However, if it looked like he was taking care of his wife and were back together.

"Let me go this instance!" I demanded him."You can't tell me you're seriously planning on keeping me here…you can't do this Keith,"

"Yes, I can…..," he replied sounding like a villain.

"You must have lost your mind, and I'll help you find it," the words left my mind through gritted teeth."Even if you have the court order to be my guardian it only applies if I'm unwell enough to make my own decisions. Give me back my phone!" I demanded him.

I'm sure if I could contact the courts and show them I was capable of making decisions they would change their decision to make him my caretaker.
