Chapter 102 Adriel’s Unreal Body
Finished
Wynette felt like nothing in her life could ever top the level of secondhand embarrassment she was experiencing right now.
She was truly, sincerely “grateful” for her best friend’s heartfelt concern.
Even without turning around, Wynette could feel Adriel’s probing gaze fixed on her.
Seriously, what did I do to deserve such an “incredible” best friend?
At this exact moment, Wynette’s urge to murder Joanne had reached its absolute peak.
Meanwhile, Joanne still hadn’t realized the person driving the car was Adriel. Raising a hand like she was taking an oath, she declared, “Seriously, Wynnie, you really should see Adriel’s body. Damn, it’s insane. Wait. I even have swimsuit pictures of him.”
As she spoke, Joanne started fumbling around for her phone.
The second Adriel heard that, he pulled the car over and slammed on the brakes.
Since when do I have swimsuit photos?
And why, as the person involved, do I know absolutely nothing about this?
Now it was Adriel’s turn to want to kick Joanne out of the car.
“Ow!” Joanne’s head smacked against the seat. Holding her aching forehead with watery eyes, she complained, “Can you even drive? What’s your employee number? I’m writing it down. Tomorrow, I’m leaving you a bad review. Your bonus is definitely getting docked tonight.”
Her phone was still clutched tightly in her hand.
Adriel stared at her with a fake smile that didn’t reach his eyes.
The moment Adriel lifted his hand like he was about to smack Joanne on the forehead, Wynette hurriedly stopped him. “She’s drunk. She’s drunk. Don’t argue with a drunk\person.”
With Wynette stopping him, Adriel took a deep breath and silently reminded himself that Joanne was his biological sister.
Joanne remained completely unaware of the danger around her. She opened her phone and shoved the photo toward Wynette. “See? Told you I wasn’t lying. With a body like this, you’re seriously not tempted?”
It was a photo of Adriel right after getting out of the pool.
One look at the angle, and it was obvious Joanne had secretly snapped it without him knowing.
Adriel himself had no idea this photo even existed.
Looking at the photo of Adriel wearing nothing but swim trunks, with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and ridiculously good proportions, Wynette had to admit his body really was unfairly perfect.

Chapter 102 Adriel’s Unreal Body
But why exactly was Joanne secretly taking photos of her own brother?
Finished
What Wynette didn’t know was that Joanne had originally taken the photo just in case she ever needed leverage against him someday.
She never expected that one day, she’d end up using it to market her own brother to her best friend.
Honestly, what a genius move.
Wynette couldn’t help sneaking another glance.
Right then, Adriel suddenly reached over and snatched Joanne’s phone away.
When Joanne leaned forward, trying to grab it back, he coldly barked, “Joanne. Sit properly.”
Joanne immediately straightened her back on reflex and obediently sat upright in the back seat.
Adriel took the opportunity to delete the photo.
When the next picture that popped up happened to be a photo of Eli, Adriel almost deleted that one too.
In the end, he restrained himself.
Joanne’s relationship problems were something she had to deal with herself.
After locking the screen, Adriel tossed the phone back to Joanne.
Then he started the car again.
The moment Joanne realized the photo had been deleted and her precious blackmail material was gone forever, she let out a miserable howl. “Ahhh, my photo! My huge photo! My huge abs photo! Damn it…”
Listening to Joanne’s tragic wailing, Wynette nearly burst out laughing.
But the second Adriel glanced at her, she quickly swallowed the laughter back down.
Biting back her smile, she turned to stare out the window instead.
Before long, Joanne’s whining disappeared altogether as she slumped against the car window and fell asleep.
Wynette slowly closed her eyes too as the car gently rocked along the road.
Even though she hadn’t drunk as much as Joanne, she’d still had quite a lot to drink. Now that the alcohol was hitting her, drowsiness quickly took over.
Adriel slowed the car down. By the time they arrived back at Graceview Estate, both Wynette and Joanne were already asleep.
He got out first, hauled Joanne out of the car, and carried her into the house before dumping her onto the guest room bed.

Leaning against his chest, Wynette blinked up at the man in front of her. He looks kinda familiar.
Oh. He’s the guy from Joanne’s phone earlier.
Joanne’s words instantly popped back into her head. This is all. Joanne’s fault. She spent the entire night rambling about abs, and now my brain is completely filled with her brother’s “eight–pack abs.”
