"Honestly, Zachary might not be wrong. Someone really needs to put Jorrod in his place. With my oldest brother and his wife gone, I do feel sorry for the kid, but look at how spoiled he's become over the years."
"I admit he's somewhat capable for getting Stellaris Corp to where it is today, but luck played a big part."
"He probably thinks managing the Vaughn Group is as simple as running Stellaris Corp. A centuries-old empire isn't something a kid like him can just figure out. He disregards family ties for his own gain, so it's understandable that Zachary resents him..."
Theron's face darkened, and he scolded, "Madeline, Jorrod is your nephew! As for Zachary's complaints, I don't want to hear another word."
Madeline watched her brother's figure disappear around the corner. She was already used to his strict demeanor, so she sighed and looked away.

Sienna Quinn truly felt she had done everything humanly possible for Jorrod.
Remembering his intense aversion to the hospital last night, she had reached out to Elara Vance. Elara's uncle happened to be the director of a small private hospital, so they had to trouble her again.
Jorrod's face was too striking and recognizable, so Sienna specially prepared a mask for him.
The hospital's CT results came out quickly. Elara hurriedly grabbed the scans, her frown deepening as she examined the report. Her gaze darted back and forth between the films and Jorrod's face.
"How is it? Why aren't you saying anything?" Sienna asked.
Elara pointed to the obvious shadowed area on the CT scan. "Look, this is the temporal lobe and hippocampus. It's the main area affected by his trauma, which primarily handles memory storage and cognition."
Sienna turned to look at the man sitting obediently on the hospital bed.
"He really lost his memory?"
"To be precise, his memory function has regressed to the level of a teenager or a child. He might even need to relearn basic life skills. But the good news is, the damage is reversible. It just takes time to heal."
Sienna cut straight to the chase. "How long?"
Elara shook her head. "Hard to say. Could be days, could be years."
She added, "And based on what you told me, I suspect he was initially just experiencing memory confusion. The second blow to his head this morning caused his current state. Right now, he probably only remembers what happened since he woke up today."
Sienna fell silent.
She pondered for a moment. "So you're saying... not only did he forget everything about us, but now he's also dumb?"
"I wouldn't call him dumb, just... not as smart as before."
Sienna remained silent.
Wasn't that the same as being dumb?
