I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 237

On Tuesday, Sienna Quinn spent the entire day catching up on sleep at home.

She drifted in and out of consciousness, occasionally picking up her phone to reply to a few texts from friends.

On Wednesday, Elara Vance had the day off, and Harvey Miller simply closed his mobile phone shop for the day. The three close friends decided to hit up a karaoke lounge together.

After two hours of screaming their lungs out to blow off steam, Elara suggested they head to a nearby café.

It had a great ambiance and beautifully plated food. Despite the exorbitant prices, it was the perfect place to soothe their raw throats after all that singing.

Perhaps because of the odd hour, the place was empty. They were the only customers.

Sienna insisted on paying for everything. She joked that the side hustle she had done for Jorrod paid so well, she could afford to move into the café.

The waiter shot her a bewildered look.

"Collecting eggs," Sienna quickly clarified. "Like from a chicken coop."

Once their coffees arrived, they chatted for a bit before comfortably lapsing into silence, scrolling through their social media feeds.

They were planning to stay just a little longer before leaving, but then they heard a commotion outside the window.

A sleek black luxury van pulled up to the entrance.

It wasn't the type of vehicle you saw every day, so the three of them couldn't help but look out.

The sliding door opened, and a young woman stepped out. She was wearing a stylish jacket, a mini skirt, her hair in pigtails, and a black face mask.

Harvey's eyes lit up. He leaned so far forward he nearly fell out of his chair. "I think... I think that's Joey Quinn!"

Elara frowned in confusion. "Who?"

Sienna had seen her on variety shows before. They shared the same last name. Joey was the current It-Girl, landing luxury endorsements left and right. Her public persona was gentle and well-behaved—the ultimate girl-next-door.

"She is really pretty, though," Elara noted.
