I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 247

The next day.

Sienna slept until she naturally woke up.

Her eyes were bleary, the room entirely cast in shadows. She grabbed her phone blindly from the pillow beside her and squinted at the screen. It was already noon.

Who had drawn the curtains?

She closed her eyes, giving her pounding head a moment to settle, before pressing her hands against the mattress to sit up.

After leaning back for a good while, she unlocked her phone.

A text message bearing the word "Hubby" instantly reflected in her pupils, and the lingering fog of her hangover vanished without a trace. Sienna's eyes went wide.

Had she... had she gotten so blackout drunk that she started acting crazy again?

Trying to piece together last night, a fragmented memory surfaced. She vaguely recalled a tall silhouette moving around her apartment...

She remembered feeling incredibly nauseous from the alcohol and vomiting all over...

Jorrod Vaughn?!

Sienna's mind reeled with a loud, buzzing noise.

She also had a hazy recollection of Jorrod borrowing her bathroom.

In the steam-filled bathroom, his damp hair was pushed back, revealing a bare chest. Wearing nothing but a towel slung low on his hips, he had lifted her onto the bathroom counter, leaning in close as he painstakingly brushed her teeth and washed her face.

She couldn't remember anything after that, having completely passed out.

But stringing all these moments together, it felt so bizarre that it might as well have been artificially generated.

Sienna quickly scanned her surroundings. The apartment was neat, tidy, and smelled perfectly fine, though she couldn't rule out the possibility that someone had scrubbed it clean.

For a moment, she couldn't distinguish if the blurry fragments in her mind were a dream or reality.

She immediately texted Mindy Monroe.
