Harvey pulled the car into the residential complex and parked downstairs.

Jokes aside, Harvey couldn't help but worry as a friend. A grown man living in a single woman's apartment was risky, especially since they didn't know his true character. Before she got out, he felt the need to give a final warning.

"Listen, Jorrod is still a fully grown man who has nearly a head on you. If you really don't want to get tangled up with him, keep your guard up. If it's too much, just send him to my place, and I'll watch him for a few days."

Sienna understood her friend's concern.

But she also knew Jorrod's temper all too well.

Just Harvey dropping by was enough to make him so jealous that he had dragged her into the bathroom to aggressively demand her attention.

If she tried to send him to Harvey's place, he would probably throw a dramatic fit and stare at her with tearful, resentful eyes.

Sienna declined. "It's fine. It'll just be for a few days. I can tough it out. He's acting like a child right now anyway. He does whatever I tell him, so he won't cross any lines."

Harvey nodded. "Alright. Just call me or Elara if anything happens."

Sienna nodded. "Yeah, don't worry. I know what I'm doing."

Harvey initially thought about helping her carry the bags from the trunk upstairs, considering there was a lot and she had been drinking.

Surprisingly, his usually unapologetic friend quickly turned him down again.

"It's fine, just leave it here. I'll have Jorrod come down and carry it all tomorrow. He can't just live in my apartment without lifting a finger."

Harvey muttered a joke about her being a ruthless taskmaster before turning away.

In truth, Sienna wasn't cruel enough to force a sick man to do heavy lifting.

She just knew that in his regressed state, Jorrod was insanely possessive over every man near her. She had already left him hanging for hours without a word; if she brought another man upstairs, there was no telling what kind of crazy tantrum he would throw in private.
