The next morning, Sienna opened her bedroom door and spotted the curled-up figure on the sofa. She knew instantly that he must have tossed and turned in the cramped space, only managing to fall asleep near dawn.

She walked over and leaned down to check his forehead for a fever.

His handsome face was completely unguarded in his sleepy state. His striking features and dense lashes half-concealed his dark pupils.

Sienna stared in a brief daze.
