I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 66

"Is it?" Jorrod actually looked down at his waist through the opaque black pants. "Then will you pick out ones you like for me? I'll wear your favorites for you to see."

"...Thanks for your generosity, but I have zero interest in you wearing underwear."

"Okay, then I won't wear any. Are you interested in me not wearing any?"

"Don't you dare!!!"

Sienna was dying inside.

They were discussing whether or not he should wear underwear with absolutely zero boundaries. Yet, the man looked completely pure, incredibly innocent, as if no words could corrupt him, leaving her with no ground to scold him.

Standing this close face-to-face, she was the only one so horribly embarrassed she couldn't even speak straight.

Sienna's cheeks were crimson, whether from pure mortification or just holding her breath, she couldn't tell.

Reflected in Jorrod's eyes, her reaction was totally unreadable.

His simple mind only gathered that his Darling didn't seem very happy.

It seemed... she was angry because he couldn't communicate properly with her.

The joy from shopping together dissipated. His long eyelashes lowered, casting small shadows over his lower eyelids.

His thin lips parted, a cautious, somewhat dejected voice slipping out. "Darling, am I really stupid..."

Sienna paused, looking up at him.

Stupid?

She had never once thought he was stupid.

That brilliant business mind of his was terrifyingly sharp.

Even in his current disoriented state, his learning speed left her astonished.

Just to keep her from getting tired taking care of him, the phone she gave him had turned into a full-on study device. In just a few days, he had already learned how to cook several home-style meals, bustling around the kitchen like a pro, entirely taking over her three daily meals.

Anyone looking at him now would never guess he used to be a pampered billionaire who had never lifted a finger in his life.

Even Silas had been absolutely stunned when he heard about it.

He had told her that Jorrod had the most sensitive nose imaginable, despised the smell of cooking oil and alcohol, and had never stepped foot in a kitchen in his entire life.
