Chapter 203
I was suddenly thrown into the car and landed hard on the seat.
As Lucian lunged toward me, I reacted instantly, my leg shooting out to connect with his chest My wolf roared within me, fueling my fun
I used all my strength, aiming for his chest.
Lucian groaned, his back hitting the tar door.
My wolf snarled with satisfaction.
His face darkened, the already tense atmosphere growing colder.
Ignoring his expression, I opened the car door and tried to escape.
One leg hit the ground before Lucian grabbed my wrist, yanking me back inside.
“Help! Someone is assaulting me…!”
I saw someone walking a dog across the lawn and shouted again.
But as the other person glanced towards us, Lucian slammed the car door shut, locking it.
The neighborhood was already dimly lit, and the car was parked in shadow.
The other person heard my cries, but saw nothing and continued their walk.
Inside the car, Lucian pinned me down, leaning close, his voice deep and hoarse.
“Call again.”
My hands were bound, my legs held down.
My chest heaved with anger.
His words were a taunt, a challenge.
This car had excellent sound insulation.
He liked to hear my cries.
I remembered the first time I was in this car, when Aurora needed medical expenses.
I called Lucian but couldn’t reach him, so I went to his company.
He trapped me in his car. That was the first time.
Even though I had my own parking space, I was still terrified someone might see.
No matter how Lucian tried to provoke me, I clenched my lips, refusing to make a sound.
Later, he modified the car for soundproofing. We’d been in this car more than once.
Knowing nobody could hear, I met his gaze coldly.”Lucian, what are you doing?”
“Seren, persuade Grandma to give up on adopting you as her granddaughter.”
His tone was commanding, laced with entitlement.
His wolf was flexing its dominance, oblivious to my hurt.
“No.”
My refusal was immediate, unwavering.
Lucian’s eyes darkened, anger brewing within. His bony fingers gripped my chin.
“No? Seren, do you not understand what it means to be the daughter of the Silvermane family, especially with a public banquet?”
At his words, I froze, then smirked.
Lucian, by today, you wouldn’t still think I love you and want to be with you, right?”

His words were a reminder.
Once I became Ms. Silvermane, even without blood relation, I would be his sister
We were forbidden. The love for him would be forbidden. The whole pack might despise us.
