Chapter 54
Ayla knew that Aurora had already died.
And she mentioned Aurora’s name in front of me over and over again!.
Now I could be certain that Ayla intentionally made the phone call to Lucian!
She deliberately chose the day of Aurora’s burial to celebrate Willow’s so-called third place in the sports competition.
She did that to show off that Lucian cared more about her daughter than he did mine.
Lucian used to show how much he loved Willow, but he never loved Aurora.
When Aurora was alive, Ayla always took advantage of Lucian’s absolute favoritism towards her and her daughter, and made Aurora feel wronged. Now Aurora was dead, they still couldn’t let her rest in peace. She and her daughter were really snakes.
How could they do this to me! How could they insult me to this point!
Ayla, was unforgivable!
‘Seren, are you listening?” Ayla’s voice remained soft.
I was extremely disgusted.
A cold smile appeared at the corner of my lips, and I responded, “Yes, I hear you.”
After saying that, I hung up the phone directly.
When I got up, I kissed Aurora’s face on the picture.
‘Aurora, Mom will never let you suffer again.”
The Lunar Sanctum
Ayla heard me say “yes,” and a cold smile appeared on the corners of her lips.
She didn’t expect that I would actually come.
“To celebrate Willow’s birthday, what did you invite me to do?”
Lucian heard and furrowed his brow.
“Wasn’t I trying to make it possible for you to see Aurora?” Ayla whispered softly.
Lucian didn’t say anything more, he hadn’t seen Aurora for a long time.
Ayla, sensing what Lucian was thinking, visibly tightened the hand hanging by her side.
She used every means to make Aurora a bad pup and an ineligible pack hier in Lucian’s heart.
She made him dislike Aurora, distance himself from her, and favor Willow.
Even so, he still cared deeply about Aurora.
Aurora was his blood, no matter what.
That was a fact and nothing could change that.
Fortunately, Aurora died.
A trace of ruthlessness flashed in Ayla’s eyes.
Half an hour later, I arrived at The Lunar Sanctum, dressed in black.
I looked at the spacious banquet hall in front of me, decorated with colorful flowers and balloons, beautiful like a castle in a dream.
