I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 251

After she finished speaking, Sienna turned and walked away.

Finn chased after her, catching her by the wrist.

"Do you like him?" His voice was fractured, barely more than a whisper.

Sienna turned around and looked at him.

The streetlamp cast a pale glow over his face, highlighting his sharp jawline while leaving half his features steeped in shadow.

Her gaze swept over him, inch by inch.

Seconds ticked by.

Suddenly, she smiled.

It was a smile cold enough to freeze over.

"Finn, what exactly goes through your head all day? What does liking him have to do with anything?" Every word she spoke was laced with ice. "You're thirty years old. Can you start thinking about something that actually matters?"

Finn didn't let go.

"What actually matters?"

Sienna glanced down at her wrist, which was still firmly trapped in his grip, then looked back up, her expression frigid.

Her eyes were filled with impatience, disgust, and something else entirely unnameable—though she would never admit it.

"Let go of me."

Finn remained motionless.

"Stop pretending to be so deeply in love with me," Sienna's words grew even sharper. "We aren't kids anymore, so let's drop the innocent act. Everyone makes choices in their lives, and you made yours a long time ago. What, do you regret it now? You want a do-over?"

She paused, a mocking curve touching her lips.

"Sorry, but you're too late. No matter who I choose, I will never choose you."

Sienna yanked her hand free with violent force and walked briskly away.

With her back to him, she let out a long, shuddering breath.

Thank God, she thought. He hadn't seen through her.

Finn stood perfectly still in the shadow of the streetlamp.

His tall silhouette looked suddenly hollow and desolate in the darkness.

Sienna had just stepped up to the decrepit entrance of her apartment building when Noah came jogging down the stairs. He spotted her immediately.

Her elegant, expensive dress stood in stark contrast to the crumbling old building.
