I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 510

Georgina, ever observant, had already followed them in with a tea tray. She smoothly poured two cups of tea, then retreated to the doorway, standing quietly off to the side.

Noah leaned against the wall nearby and muttered,

“Look at you being all domestic. Those two clearly aren't here with good intentions.”

Georgina shot him a side-eye.

“What do you know? There's obviously someone else pulling the strings here.”

Noah immediately understood, looking at Georgina with renewed respect.

Once they were seated, Sienna smiled pleasantly.

“Mr. and Mrs. James, there is something I’m a bit curious about. How exactly did you find out I borrowed the money? And to know exactly where to find us... someone must have tipped you off, right?”

The lounge fell silent for a moment.

Lily was the first to react, the color draining from her face.

Right. She hadn't said a single word about this to her parents.

Mrs. James blinked in surprise and exchanged a quick look with her husband.

Mr. James set his teacup down, his brow furrowing.

“Someone called the house. A young woman. Said our Lily lent out her wedding money. Said she gave it to you, gave us this address, and told us to come collect it ourselves.”

“A young woman?” Lily’s voice went completely rigid. “Did she say who she was?”

“No. She hung up right after. I tried calling back, but no one answered.” Mrs. James was finally putting the pieces together. “I panicked. The moment I heard how much money it was, I couldn't just sit still. I didn't stop to think—but now that you mention it, it is weird. How did she get our home number? She even knew what your messaging app profile picture looked like.”

Sienna and Lily exchanged a sharp look.

Sienna picked up her teacup, took a slow sip, and when she looked back up, the warmth in her eyes had completely vanished.

“Mrs. James, no one blames you for panicking. Anyone would be worried. But think about it... this person called you anonymously, refused to leave a name, and deliberately stirred you up to come all the way out here and cause a scene. Do you really think she was doing this out of the goodness of her heart? Or was she just using you as a weapon?”

Mrs. James’s expression faltered.
