I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 513

Noah wasn't offended in the slightest. He simply scooped it up and popped it into his mouth.

“I'm not picky. Food is food.”

He chewed loudly, nodding. “Delicious.”

Sienna glanced over.

“Are you two fighting?”

Georgina immediately plastered on a bright smile.

“Of course not! Noah and I were just chatting. He was telling me stories about his college. It’s super interesting.”

As she spoke, she picked up her own silverware, grabbed a piece of meat, and dropped it onto Noah’s plate, her movements so natural it was as if they hadn't just been bickering.

Noah stared at the food on his plate, then glanced up at Georgina. A smile tugged uncontrollably at the corner of his lips as he ate it without hesitation.

Georgina froze.

She had meant to gross him out in return, never expecting him to actually eat it—let alone look so pleased about it.

She quickly looked away and reached for a different dish, completely unaware that the tips of her ears had turned pink.

By the second half of the banquet, the atmosphere had completely relaxed.

Grant had uncharacteristically indulged in a few glasses of wine. His face was flushed, and he was far more talkative than usual.

He leaned back in his chair, his gaze shifting from Finn to Sienna as if evaluating them, before raising his glass in her direction.

“Sienna, it hasn't been easy for you and Finn all these years. The Fletcher family failed you in the past. But from this day forward, in this family, you do whatever makes you happy.”

Sienna held her teacup, momentarily stunned into silence.

She had expected Grant to be polite, but she never imagined he would make such an absolute declaration in front of the entire table.

Grant took another sip of wine and set his glass down.

“You are a brilliant young woman. Finn is a lucky man to have found you.”

Hearing that, Noah secretly puffed out his chest at the end of the table, acting as if he was the one being praised.

Georgina kicked him under the table, and he flinched, keeping his mouth shut.

Sitting across from them, Lily reached for the wine bottle.

Sienna reacted instantly, clamping her hand down over Lily’s.

“What are you doing?”

“I’m happy. I want a drink,” Lily smiled.

Sienna didn't let go, lowering her voice.

“You absolutely cannot drink right now.”
