I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 514

Seeing Lily on the verge of a breakdown, Sienna knew logic wouldn't work.

She had to stall her.

“Even if you’re leaving, wait until tomorrow.” Sienna placed a firm hand on Lily's suitcase. “It’s already pitch dark outside. I am not letting you travel back down the mountain alone.”

Lily gripped the handle, already stepping out into the hallway.

“Sienna, I’ll be fine. Don't worry about me.”

Sienna refused to let go, riding the elevator down with Lily and walking her out into the courtyard.

“Let me go say goodbye to the elders, and I’ll drive back with you.”

But right at that moment...

The brightly lit courtyard suddenly plunged into absolute darkness.

It was as if someone had pulled the master switch on the entire estate.

A second later, music began to play.

The massive magnolia tree in the center of the courtyard flared to life, illuminating from the roots all the way up to the canopy.

Thousands of warm yellow fairy lights were tightly wrapped around its branches. The soft, golden glow filtered through the leaves, painting the fallen petals on the ground in hues of amber and gold.

The lights also revealed the figure standing beneath the tree.

It was Isaac.

He was dressed in a sharp, dark suit, his tie knotted perfectly, his cuffs impeccably crisp.

His hands rested at his sides, his expression filled with absolute, unwavering solemnity.

Lily froze, her grip on the suitcase going slack.

She stared at the scene unfolding before her in utter shock. It took her several seconds before her lips finally parted.

“When... when did you plan all this?”

“I threw it together a bit last minute, but my devotion to you is absolute.” Isaac's voice was rough, clearly having run on zero sleep.

“But none of that matters right now.”

As he spoke, he reached into his breast pocket and pulled out a box.

It was made of deep blue velvet, exquisite and stunning.

Lily’s breath hitched. She recognized the brand... they had walked past their boutique in the mall months ago.

She had casually mentioned how much she loved their diamond rings.
