I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 542

Noah stood in the middle of the hallway, a knot of unease twisting tighter in his chest.

He stomped back to the table.

He looked directly at Sienna.

"Sienna, Finn and Georgina are relatives, right?"

Sienna glanced at him.

"Yeah."

Noah leaned in.

"Are they blood-related?"

Sienna thought about it. Technically, no.

Yolanda Fletcher was Georgina's biological aunt, but Maeve wasn't related to her by blood.

She decided not to explain all that. Instead, she set her chopsticks down and stared at him.

"Why are you asking?"

Just as the words left her mouth, a waiter arrived with a new dish.

Finn strolled back down the hallway and took his seat. Without missing a beat, he picked up Sienna's water glass and swapped it for a fresh cup of hot water, steam curling off the rim.

"Drink this, the water got cold," Finn said, placing the cup right next to her hand. "You shouldn't drink anything iced right now. You need something warm."

Sienna stared at the steaming cup, momentarily stunned.

Her period had just started a few days ago. She had almost forgotten about it herself, but Finn had remembered...

She picked up the cup and took a sip. The temperature was perfect—not too hot to burn her mouth, but warm enough to soothe her stomach and send a wave of comfort through her body.

As she set the cup down, she glanced at Finn. He was already focused on cracking open a crab.

His movements were incredibly smooth and elegant.

He dismantled the crab shell with methodical precision. Claws, legs, the main shell—every step was flawlessly executed, as if he were operating the control panel in a cockpit.

He carefully extracted the crab roe, setting it aside on the edge of a plate. Then, he methodically shredded the crab meat, placing it directly into Sienna's bowl. In no time, a pristine layer of snowy-white crab meat covered the bottom.

Sienna looked down at the pile of meat, a subtle sense of joy blooming in her chest.

Finn tossed the empty shells onto a side plate and wiped his fingers. He made the whole process look completely effortless.

Noah sat across from them, watching the display with cold skepticism.
