Noah stood near the entrance, his hands buried deep in his hoodie pockets, watching Georgina.

The glow of the streetlights illuminated her profile, highlighting her luminous skin and the energetic sway of her high ponytail.

"I can give you a ride," he offered.

Georgina looked up at him.

Noah quickly turned his head, pretending to inspect the passing cars.

"Our campuses are in the same area. It's on the way."

Georgina stayed quiet for two seconds before putting her phone away.

"Sure."

Noah called a rideshare.

A car pulled around the corner and stopped in front of them. He opened the back door, letting Georgina slide in first, before walking around to get in on the other side.

He rolled down his window to wave goodbye to Sienna and Finn.

Inside the car, a wide gap remained between them on the backseat. Neither of them said a word.

After sitting in silence for a few minutes, Noah turned his head slightly toward her.

"Georgina."

"Yeah."

"If you ever need any help with anything, just let me know," he said, too embarrassed to actually look at her. "We're in the same neighborhood now. We should look out for each other."

Georgina didn't think much of it and gave a casual, dismissive reply.

"Sure."

But that single 'sure' was enough to keep Noah buzzing with adrenaline for the rest of the night.
