I Stopped Loving Him When He Let Me Bleed Out novel Chapter 546

She needed to work. She needed it desperately.

But the moment that thought surfaced, a lingering wave of guilt washed over Sienna.

She resolved to make it up to Finn tonight.

She couldn't let him feel neglected anymore.

Just as she was wrapping up her shift, her phone buzzed.

She glanced at the screen. It was Lily James.

"Hey, Lily."

The line was dead silent for two seconds before a suppressed, heartbreaking sob tore through the speaker.

"Sienna, I'm getting a divorce."

Sienna froze in her tracks.

"Lily, what happened?"

Lily sniffled loudly. Her voice was thick and raspy; she had clearly been crying for a while.

"Isaac... he's definitely cheating on me."

Sienna took a deep breath. "Where are you right now? I'm getting off work. I'll come straight to you."

"I'm at home."

Sienna hung up, grabbed her bag, and rushed out.

Finn had texted her ten minutes earlier saying he was going to be late and that she shouldn't wait up for dinner.

She quickly texted back a simple "Okay" and headed out the door.

When she arrived at Lily's place, the front door was unlocked.

Sienna pushed it open and stepped inside. The main lights were off; only a single floor lamp cast a dim glow across the living room.

Lily was curled up in the corner of the sofa, clutching a throw pillow to her chest. Her eyes were swollen into tiny slits, and a half-empty box of tissues sat on the coffee table.

Sienna kicked off her shoes, walked over, and sat down beside her.

"Tell me exactly what happened."

Lily turned to her, fresh tears spilling down her cheeks.

"I accidentally logged into Isaac's airline app and saw that he's flown to Sunset Isle multiple times over the last two weeks. That island is a famous romantic getaway! Why would he go there so many times? And he never told me. He hid it from me."

Her voice cracked as the tears fell like shattered glass.

"And combining that with how defensive he's been with his phone lately... always sneaking around texting someone... he's definitely talking to another woman. Sienna, I just can't take this."
