Quentin walked over, placed a hand on her shoulder to steady her, and used his other hand to grab some tissues to wipe the sweat from her temples.

"Take it easy," his voice was low and gentle.

Bonnie dry-heaved a few more times, her empty stomach aching.

Quentin handed her a glass of warm water. "Rinse your mouth, it'll make you feel a bit better."

Guided by his hand, Bonnie rinsed her mouth a few times before finally managing to catch her breath.

Only then did she belatedly register her surroundings. The facilities looked exactly like the VIP ward at Davenport International Medical Center.
