Chapter 68 Part-Time Nanny
She would never be worse than Demi!
She laughed freely for a while, then frowned slightly, thinking about the cooperation with Mr. Bree.
After the last invitation, she often chatted with him
He helped her this time. Next time.
When Blackwell Group had bidding or major projects, he would help him.
Before long, news of Rhea handling a major contract spread through the company.
At lunch, she walked into the cafeteria with her back straight, everyone greeted her obsequiously.
Finished
Ms. Dunn only handles minor tasks for Mr. Blackwell: How could she be in charge of a major project for the Bree Group! This has nothing to do with her..
‘Maybe Mr. Blackwell pulled the strings and nominally gave the project to Ms. Dunn to build her reputation
“Could it be that she is really rising in status?”
Rhea overheard the whispers as she walked out with her lunch tray.
She was determined to rise in status!
At five o’clock, she would leave ten minutes early, go to school, pick up Orion, and bring him to the office to see Nevin
Her eyes glinted with calculation.
Snow Group.
Demi confirmed that the contract and related matters were fine before signing.
She rearranged some small cakes and a warm soup on the counter.
The soup was made by the housemaid to minimize strong smells; Demi could drink half a bowl without discomfort
She didn’t know that while her secretary had bought all those sweets, Nevin had already received the information.
Demi only ate a few bites unless she really craved it, just so to avoid gaining weight.
But over the course of a day, the total amount added up
Lewis’s phone in his pocket buzzed. He left the office and, a minute later, knocked and came back in.
“Ms. Snow, Mr. Blackwell from Blackwell Group has scheduled a lunch with you at Salia Restaurant to casually discuss cooperation between the two companies.”

Chapter 68 Part Time Nanny
Demi’s mouth twitched as she glanced at her phone on the desk.
Nevin couldn’t reach her directly, so he went through company channels to schedule it.
I won’t go. Push it back”
Lewis added. “He said, if you refuse, make sure you have your lunch on time.”
Dermi sighed.
Since when did Nevin become a part-time nanny?
She frowned. “Did he say anything else?”
Lewis shook his head. Just specifically asked you to cation time.”
Demi rested her hand on her belly. How could Nevin have the time to worry about when she ate?
Could it be…
Thinking back to that dinner at the estate, had she been exposed?
She shook her head quietly. If exposed, so be it.
The child in her womb would belong to her alone.
And meal matters weren’t Nevin’s concern anyway.
Carol, having been through it before, knew how difficult pregnancy aversions could be.
Plus, when Demi gave birth to Orion, Carol wasn’t there to care for her.
