It Doesn’t Matter Anymore novel Chapter 100

Chapter 100

Jennie had gotten clever this time.

The message she sent must have included some kind of advanced technology

It was set to self-destruct after being read.

Liora opened the message, but within moments, it vanished, showing ‘message deleted

What a coward.

The thought of that line, “He hasn’t touched you at all,” made Liora freeze. Could it be that Lucas, to appease his darling, had told her that he

hadn’t touched her?

The idea made her feel slightly sick.

But, in a way, Jennie had hit the mark.

As for the pregnancy issue, Liora did have some regrets.

When they were newly married, Liora had really wanted to have a child with Lucas.

A child that was a mix of her own looks and Sebastian’s.

When Lucas found out, he warned her, “We’re not having children. If you try to get pregnant, I’ll make sure to end it myself.”

He had said this calmly, with his large hand on her abdomen.

His tone was so calm that it sent a chill down her spine.

Liora knew Lucas meant every word.

For three years, no matter how intense his desire, he always remembered to take precautions.

Now Jennie was pregnant.

So, it wasn’t that he didn’t want a child with her. It was that he didn’t want to have a child with Jennie.

Liora was at least relieved that her regret wasn’t about not having a child with Lucas. It was the fact that she hadn’t been able to have a chik

Sebastian.

As for Lucas, whether he would be a good father or not, Liora didn’t know.

But she knew Sebastian would have been the best father in the world.

Her heart tightened with pain.

She took out Sebastian’s photo and traced his face with her finger across the screen.

Liora had longed to return to Sebastian, but more than that, she wanted to recover from her muteness and return to see him and Olivia.

They would be so happy to see her.

When Zachary arrived, he noticed the redness around Liora’s eyes.

His heart tightened.

“Feeling down?” Zachary didn’t ask about the trending topic.

Chapter 100

Liora shook her head. “I slept for a long time this afternoon and just woke up Is there something wrong, Dr Hanley?”

Zachary smiled gently. “Liora, I’m your psychologist You can share anything that’s bothering you. I’ll be here to listen”

Liora looked at Zachary and asked with a smile, “Did something happen?”

It was a bit late for Zachary to be visiting her. He’d never come this late before.

He always had a sense of boundaries, especially with a woman alone in the room.

Zachary quickly realized that Liora probably didn’t know about the trending topic.

After all, she had just said she had been sleeping for a long time.

However, there were others at the clinic who knew.

“You trended this afternoon,” Zachary said briefly, giving her the details he had gathered. “It’s already been taken down, and the related terms

have been removed. Don’t worry.”

“Oh…” Liora slowly regained her composure.

She seemed to remember something and picked up her phone again.

She opened WhatsApp, which she hadn’t checked for a few days.

Zachary had been able to call her directly through the clinic’s internal video system, but aside from him, she didn’t want to contact anyone else.

So, she logged out of WhatsApp.

But when she logged back in, she was nearly overwhelmed by the unread messages.

Lavender alone had over 99 of them.

Zoe and her dance troupe had also sent many messages, all asking about the trending topic.

They were all worried about her.

Liora quickly skimmed through Lavender’s messages.

She saw that her photo, though blurred and poorly sharpened, was still recognizable to anyone who knew her.

It was Jennie’s doing.

“Liora, don’t worry, things on the internet blow over quickly. People will forget soon,” Zachary said, seeing Liora’s face fall. He quickly tried to

reassure her.

To his surprise, Liora smiled.

She shook her head at Zachary, signaling that she wasn’t bothered by it.

The day she decided to divorce Lucas, she told him to keep Jennie away from her, or she would only make herself more miserable.

Since Jennie didn’t listen, Liora decided to play her own game.

She wouldn’t waste money to buy Jennie’s trending topic.
