It was ten o’clock at night at Grand Court Nightclub.
Midnight Club used to be the biggest nightclub around.
But after Midnight Club shut down, other clubs started thriving.
And Grand Court Nightclub became the top spot in the city.
Most of the staff who used to work at Midnight Club ended up working at Grand Court Nightclub.

Some of the people at Midnight Club were part of Scarlet’s crew, but the rest were just ordinary folks, nothing special about them.
After Midnight Club closed, Nina gave everyone a payout, but she didn’t try to keep anyone from leaving or staying.
After all, no one knew when Midnight Club would ever open again.
Besides, most of them had families to support, so they couldn’t just sit around doing nothing.
So, the regular folks without any connections just went to work at other nightclubs.
Of course, a lot of them ended up at Grand Court Nightclub.
Grand Court offered a better deal to people from Midnight Club, letting them keep an extra 20% of their earnings. That was why so many chose to come here.
And the reason Grand Court was willing to be so generous? Simple. Anyone who’d worked at Midnight Club already had their own loyal clients.
Once they moved to Grand Court, their customers naturally followed.
So, business at Grand Court Nightclub had been booming lately.
Ever since Midnight Club closed, Nina hadn’t set foot in a nightclub.
But tonight, she was here at Grand Court Nightclub with Ryan.
The boss of Grand Court Nightclub was practically on his knees, begging Nina to hurry over and take Maria and Sarah away.
As soon as Nina and Ryan walked in, they heard Maria’s booming voice. “I spent 600 thousand, and you bring me this bunch? Seriously? You think a lady like me is here to waste 600 grand on this nonsense?
“Go find me some tall, handsome guys with abs, who can sing, dance, and know how to treat a lady. I want a hundred of them! Now! Right now! I want them here this instant!”
Then, Nina saw Maria throw stacks of cash onto the table, looking every bit the boss. “Money’s no object for me. However many you’ve got, I’ll take them all!
“You’ve got half an hour. If you can’t find me the right guys, this dump can just close up. I’ll buy it out in a heartbeat!
Nina and Ryan were both stunned.
Seeing the chaos, the two shared a look and instantly turned to walk away, perfectly in sync,

Chapter 300
‘Nope, don’t know her! Nina and Ryan both thought.
‘Seriously, who is this lady? Nope, never seen her in my life!’ Nina and Ryan both thought.
Nina and Ryan practically flew out of there, moving as fast as they could.
But even as they tried to make their escape, someone beat them to it.

“Hey, Ms. Swanson, don’t leave! Please, take them away! If you don’t, my business is doomed!” the boss of Grand Court Nightclub practically begged, almost in tears.
Nina and Ryan shot each other a look and made a beeline for the exit, not slowing down for a second.
But before they could get out, the boss bellowed desperately from behind, “Close the doors! Block them! Don’t let them leave!”
Nina and Ryan were stunned again.
The doors of Grand Court Nightclub slammed shut, forcing Nina and Ryan to stop in their tracks, totally defeated.
The boss of Grand Court Nightclub chased after them, panting.
He stopped right in front of Nina, catching his breath. “Ms. Swanson, come on! I took in your people from Midnight Club out of kindness, and now you send your grandma here to cause a scene in my club? That’s just not fair!”
Nina shot a look at Maria, sprawled on the sofa like she ran the joint, and Sarah, chilling right next to her without a care in the world.
After a couple of seconds of silence, she said, cool as ice, “Sorry, never seen them before.”
“Huh?” Rex, the boss, was losing it. “How can you say that? Come on, she…”
He jabbed a finger at Maria. “Isn’t she your husband’s grandma? And that one…”
Then, he pointed at Sarah. “That’s your actual grandma! What, you got hit with amnesia or something?”
Nina didn’t even blink. “Rex, you must be confused. My grandma’s at home, probably snoring away right now.”
Rex stared at Nina, eyes wide in disbelief. ‘How can she lie through her teeth and still keep a straight face? he thought.
‘Seriously, she’s standing right here! How can you claim she’s at home sleeping?’ Rex was about to lose his mind.
Rex turned to Ryan, exasperated. “Come on, I can’t be wrong about Maria, right? I’m begging you, just take them away! It’s peak hour, and look at the mess your grandma’s making. My customers are too freaked out to even come in!”
Ryan was just as unfazed. “Rex, you must be mistaken. That’s not my grandma either. She and my mom are at home, probably getting facials or something”
