Lisa immediately understood once she heard Logan's question.

Throwing him a light punch, she exclaimed, "How could you, Logan? You knew that I was hiding in your car all along! You were messing with me!"

Enjoying her half-hearted punches, Logan tightened his arms around her, pulling her in even closer. "You were the one who wanted to mess around, so I just went along with it!"

That was how it had always been. Ever since they were kids, he had never turned down her requests. He went through all odds to make things happen for her.

Lisa's arms slid around his waist as she traced the defined lines she'd admired earlier through the gap in the door. "Have you ever played with a woman before?"

Then, she quickly added, "Pool, I mean."

"No. Why?" Logan answered honestly.

"Then you can't ever in the future either." Lisa tapped her fingers on his waist.

Amusement flickered in his eyes. "Oh?"

Lisa straightened up slightly and pressed closer to him. "It's too seductive."

A slow, knowing smirk spread across Logan's lips. "Are you so easily seduced, Liz?"

Of course she was. If she weren't, she wouldn't be tangled up in this secret affair with him in the first place.

Lisa's face heated up, and she grasped the hem of his shirt at his waist. "Am I disturbing anything? If you're in the middle of a business discussion, I can wait for you in the car."

"No, it's just a casual gathering, and we're just chatting," Logan answered nonchalantly.

But Lisa had already overheard the content of their conversation. Though she wasn't exactly sure what they were talking about, she got the gist of things—he was planning to give up everything he had built overseas for her.

"Logan, you don't need to give up anything for me. A relationship should be about building each other up, not sacrificing or abandoning any part of yourself."
