Quentin’s face hardened at Keith’s words. The man had a look of satisfaction on his face as he stared back at him.

He had said those words with the intention to hurt and it was pretty obvious that he had done so. Julia looked all too happy in his arms, relishing in the thought that the words had hit their mark.

I didn’t like that Quentin was silent. Neither did I like the smug look on his face as he thought he had gained the upper hand.

“I can’t believe you never told me about that.” I latched onto Quentin’s arm, a small smile playing at my lips.

There was a hint of surprise in his eyes as he watched me. He was no doubt wondering what I was doing.

I was just getting started.

“In as much as such a thing happened, Quentin is mine and mine alone. I don’t plan on letting go of him any time soon.” I grinned, wrapping my arm around Quentin’s affectionately.

Keith raised an eyebrow. “Oh really?”

I nodded. “It’s not every day you get to bag such a hunk like him.”

Quentin’s lips curled into a smile as he turned to me. “You think I’m a hunk?”

“I also think you’re sexy as fuck. Does that count too?” I said, the smirk never leaving my face.

“Oh, definitely.” Quentin sent me a playful wink.

Keith seemed utterly confused and mildly annoyed as he watched me flirt with Quentin. I wasn’t done yet though.

“I still don’t know which she-wolf rejected such an excellent Alpha with the blessings of the Moon God himself.” I sighed, my arms still wrapped tightly around Quentin’s arm.

A crowd was starting to gather around us, each of them staring at us with inquisitive looks in their eyes. They were all watching, waiting for a reaction from me and to see what Quentin would do.

Keith looked visibly disturbed, shifting where he stood. I notice the furtive glances that Julia would send his way. It felt odd for a model of her standing to be taking such looks at him.

Keith jutted out his arm towards Julia. She looked around at the crowd that had formed, suddenly self-aware and shy.
