Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 358

Pushing open the door, however, revealed an entirely different world.

A waiter led them down a plush corridor and pushed open the double doors at the very end.

Sebastian was sprawled lazily on a sofa, his legs crossed, furiously texting Grant. Seeing Hudson and Nora walk in, he immediately stood up.

"Hudson, Nora!" he greeted them with a wide smile. "Jude and Finnian aren't here yet. Take a seat, I'll have them bring some tea."

Hudson led Nora to a table by the window. "What do you want to eat?"

"Anything's fine."

Hudson chuckled softly, turning his hand to interlock his fingers with hers, his thumb gently stroking the back of her hand. "Anything? My wife is that easy to please?"

Nora felt half her arm go numb from the casual touch. She instinctively tried to pull her hand back, shooting him a glare that clearly meant, *We have an audience!*

Hudson just tightened his grip and pulled her hand right back. "Don't worry about him. He's blind."

"..."

The 'blind' Sebastian silently looked down at his phone, typing so fast sparks could have flown from the screen: *[Get your ass over here right now, Grant!]*

He was going to choke to death on their public displays of affection!

The second he hit send, the private room doors swung open again. Grant swaggered in, phone screen still lit, looking thoroughly annoyed. "Damn it, they aren't even here yet! Why the hell were you rushing me like someone was dying?"

"..."

Before Sebastian could formulate a comeback, the doors opened once more.

Jude Winslow walked in first. Dressed in a sharp, charcoal-gray casual suit, he looked tall, elegant, and perfectly refined.

"Apologies. We hit traffic on the way here," Jude said, offering a warm smile to Hudson. His gaze flicked over to Nora for a split second before smoothly looking away.

Hudson let out a light laugh, his eyes drifting to Finnian Fairchild, who had followed Jude inside.

"I'm surprised you actually showed up, Finnian. What? Didn't manage to latch onto my dear uncle?"

The words were dripping with sarcasm, an undisguised, razor-sharp jab.

The atmosphere in the room instantly turned tense.
