"That's impossible! I just got it done last month! Are you in on this with the staff here?"
The police officer's face darkened. "Ma'am, we are following standard legal procedures. If you dispute our findings, you can take the matter to court."
"What is that supposed to mean? You think I won't? I'll sue all of you!"
The two officers exchanged a weary glance.
"Ma'am, if you continue to cause a disturbance, we have the right to detain you for obstructing official duties."
"Are you scared now? If you're scared, fix my information immediately!"
In the end, the two officers grabbed her by the arms and escorted her right out of the building.
Passersby turned to look, whispering among themselves.
When had Jade ever suffered such an indignity?
Tears streamed down her face.

He kept his voice low, his eyes darting around shiftily to make sure no one was watching. "I can get you anything. Marriage certificates, IDs, diplomas, property deeds. Whatever you want, I got it. I guarantee it'll look exactly like the real thing. Normal folks will never be able to tell the difference."
