Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 381

Nora didn't offer any more advice; this was Leo's business.

As for Nadine, they were all adults, and she had to take responsibility for her own actions.

She had clearly targeted Leo for the massive media attention he commanded.

But she had forgotten one crucial detail.

Aside from being a pop sensation, Leo was the youngest heir to the Hamilton family.

If Nora hadn't been there to de-escalate the situation today, given Leo's explosive temper, he wouldn't have let it go.

While the Hamiltons could easily suppress any fallout, a scandal would inevitably hinder his long-term career.

Outside the studio, Hudson's car was already waiting.

"Did Leo cause any trouble?"

Hudson leaned over to buckle her seatbelt the moment she slipped into the passenger seat.

Nora shook her head. "Just some actress trying to use him for clout. She picked the wrong target."

A faint smile touched Hudson's lips. "You can't blame Leo for being ruthless. In his early years in the industry, people constantly tried to ride his coattails. If it weren't for his solid backing, ten Leos would have been ruined by now."

"Really?"

Nora looked surprised. Given Leo's fiery temper, someone actually dared to mess with him?

"The entertainment industry is a vanity fair. Once fame is involved, the massive profits are enough to make people throw their morals out the window."

Nora pressed her lips together, knowing he was right.

She had seen too many people corrupted by the toxic allure of fame and fortune.

"What's wrong? Did that scare you?" Hudson chuckled softly. "Don't worry, just keep doing your thing. I've got your back."

Nora smiled warmly, but then noticed the car taking a sudden turn at the intersection.
