Nora's brow furrowed.
It was Liana's voice.
She listened for a few more seconds and quickly pieced together what was going on.
No wonder Sienna was late.
She was busy giving Liana a blood transfusion again.
Honestly, perhaps it was just a preconceived bias, but Nora had zero fondness for the Fairchild family's adopted daughter.
Even after learning about the 'fair trade' between Sienna and Finnian, she still couldn't muster a shred of sympathy for the girl.
Sienna had lost so much weight from these constant transfusions she looked practically skeletal, while Liana looked positively rosy and glowing with health.
She was the one benefiting from all this, yet she still had the nerve to throw a tantrum?
"Sienna, where are you? I'm coming to you."
"No need, I'm almost done. Just wait for me at the exhibition..."
"I don't feel like walking around here anymore..."
The other end of the line fell silent for a moment. Sienna looked up at the 200cc IV bag that was almost empty, realizing it might be better if Nora picked her up. Having just given blood, she wouldn't have the energy to drive anyway. She immediately gave Nora the hotel address.
"I'll be right there."
...
The address Sienna sent was a five-star hotel.
Nora and Olive took the elevator straight to the eighteenth floor.
Arriving outside room 1808, she knocked on the door.
A moment later, the door swung open to reveal Finnian standing there, his face completely stony.
When he saw Nora standing in the doorway, his deeply furrowed brow relaxed slightly, though his tone remained perfectly flat. "Are you here for Sienna? Come in."
Sienna was sitting on the sofa, her sleeve rolled up to her elbow. A gauze pad was taped to the inside of her arm, dotted with a faint trace of blood.
She didn't look well. Her lips were pale, but she was in relatively good spirits. The moment she saw Nora walk in, her eyes lit up.
