Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 688

Archer was wearing a neon pink and orange gradient shirt, completely unbuttoned to reveal his tanned chest, strutting around like a peacock showing off its feathers.

Olive, in her yellow tank top and shorts with her high ponytail, looked bursting with youth.

But the most eye-catching of all was Hudson.

Even in a simple sleeveless shirt, he exuded an irresistible, seductive charm.

Realizing she was swooning over her own husband again, Nora quickly averted her eyes and waved her hands. "I'll sit this one out. I don't know how to surf..."

Olive immediately jumped up from the sofa. "That's exactly why you need to learn! I'm telling you, the Boss is the best surfer here! If he teaches you, you'll pick it up in less than a day."

Nora instinctively looked at Hudson, her bright eyes filled with eager anticipation.

Hudson smiled slightly. "Want to learn?"

Nora nodded enthusiastically.

She had only ever seen surfing on TV.

Since they had traveled all the way to The Bahamas, she wanted to make the most of it!

"Let's go. I'll teach you."

The Bahamian sun beat down relentlessly. Without skyscrapers to block it, the heat radiated off the ocean's surface.

Nora walked barefoot on the beach. The sand was warm and soft, sinking comfortably between her toes, tickling her skin.

"We won't go in the water yet. Get a feel for it on the sand first."

He placed the surfboard on the ground, crouched down, and patted the surface. "Lie down and give it a try."

Nora mirrored his posture, placed her hands on the board, and lay down, resting her chin near the front edge.

The board wobbled slightly, and she quickly grabbed the edges to stabilize herself.

It wasn't too hard; she easily found her center of gravity.

Next was standing up.

"Keep your knees slightly bent, don't lock them. Keep your center of gravity low."

Nora obeyed, bending her knees, and the board immediately felt steadier.

"Slowly stand up."

Taking a deep breath, she engaged her core and gradually straightened her back.

The board wobbled twice, but she managed to stabilize herself. She stood on the board, imagining the waves pushing her forward.

"I did it!"

She turned around in excitement, but her footing slipped, and she tumbled toward the imaginary water. Hudson caught her swiftly by the waist, pulling her into his chest and brushing a stray lock of hair from her face.

"Try again."

"The Boss and Madam are surfing in the ocean..."

Before Arthur could finish his sentence, Finnian had already spun around and sprinted toward the water.

Hudson, noticing the commotion, guided Nora toward the shore.

They walked onto the sand, Nora's hair still dripping wet. She looked up and froze at the sight of Finnian.

He was completely soaked.

His tailored suit pants were caked in sand, and his hair was a messy nest. He had lost every ounce of his usual aristocratic composure.

Nora blinked in surprise. "...Mr. Fairchild?"

Finnian's jaw twitched. He was losing control of his facial expressions and instinctively opened his arms, wanting to pull her into a hug.

But before he could step closer, a pair of large hands shoved firmly against his chest.

It was Hudson, his face dark and his brows deeply furrowed.

"Keep your hands to yourself! What do you want?"

Ignoring Hudson entirely, Finnian frantically rolled up his wet sleeve, revealing the Faded Red Cord tied around his wrist.

Nora froze, blinking in confusion. "Why... why do you have this?"

"Evie... Evie, I finally found you."
