Chapter 97
Luna’s POV
I did not know what to expect when Theo said we were going to a literal werewolf park. After all, I had never imaginert myself in this kind of situation before, so I honestly had no clue what I was supposed to expe imagine what a werewolf pack would look like, y brain kept gying me ridiculous images that made no vese
all. Even when I tried to
Part of me kept imagining a bunch of giant wolves running around in the woods like wild animals while people handed dramatically in the background. The other part of me knew that idea was ruped because Theo and the others clearly invert like normal people. They attended college, played football, and drove expensive cars, so obviously not every werewolf was hiding inside forests wearing animal skin or whatever nonsense I was imagining
Still, my thoughts refused to settle,as Theo kept driving deeper into the middle of nowhere. The roads had become empties a long time ago, and now there were barely even signs that people existed around us anymore Trees surrounded us from almost every direction, and if I had been alone. I probably would have already convinced myself that I was about to die in the forest. Moon, meanwhile, was annoyingly calm and cunous about everything, which honestly was not helping me at all
Just as I was about to ask Theo again how much farther we had to go, something suddenly caught my attention from a distance. My eyes narrowed slightly before widening a little when I noticed the appearance of a huge gate ahead of us. Immediately, I sat up straighter in my seat while staring ahead in disbelief.
The gate was massive
No, massive was honestly an understatement: The thing looked like the entrance to some billionaire’s private estate or one of those fancy places only rich people in movies lived in Tall black iron gates stretched high into the air with stone walls surrounding both sides. Even from a distance, the place screamed money. Everything about it looked expensive and carefully maintained, and for some reason. I suddenly became very aware of the fact that I was sitting in Theo’s stupidly expensive car while wearing an outfit that I still wasn’t comfortable in and couldn’t afford on my own.
As if sensing my curiosity immediately. Theo glanced at me briefly before speaking.
This is home,” he said simply. “Where I grew up. It’s also one of the many packhouses of the Crimson Hollow pack”
I turned to stare at him properly this time. “One of the many packhouses?” I repeated in confusion before looking back at the huge gate again. “Wait… so a pack is like what, exactly? A country? A state? A kingdom or something?”
The moment the words left my mouth, I immediately felt a little stupid. The question sounded ridiculous in my own ears, but at this point, I genuinely did not care anymore. I had spent days pretending like I understood this werewolf world when in reality, I barely understood anything. Every day seemed to come with a new piece of information that somehow made my life even more confusing.
To my surprise, Theo did not laugh at me.
Instead, he looked thoughtful for a moment while keeping one hand loosely on the steering wheel. “Honestly,” he finally said, “if thinking of it that way helps you understand things better, then you can think of it like that for now.”
I frowned slightly. “For now?”
Theo nodded once. “Soon enough, you’ll understand properly,” he replied calmly. “You’ve only known about this world for a short time, Luna. You don’t have to understand everything immediately”
For some reason, the way he said it made me relax just a little. I was so used to feeling lost lately that hearing someone say I did not have to understand everything right away strangely helped.
I stayed quiet after that while the car slowly approached the gate. The closer we got, the more nervous I suddenly started to

Chapter 92
As soon as we finally reached the gate, two men immediately approached the car. They both looked serious and alert at first, but the moment they recognized Theo through the window, their entire posture changed instantly. Theo rolled down his window casually while I watched everything quietly from my seat.
The two men bowed their heads respectfully. “Welcome back, Alpha,” one of thera said respectfully.
Even though I already knew that Theo was an alpha, hearing someone actually address him that way in person still felt strange to me somehow. It reminded me once again that there was a lot more to him than the annoying flirt who liked to brag and drove loud sports cars.
Theo greeted them easily with a relaxed smile. “Good to see you both.”
The gate slowly began to roll open after that, and as Theo drove inside, I found myself staring out the window almost mmediately. The deeper we entered the estate, the wider my eyes became. The place was enormous. Calling it a packhouse uddenly felt completely wrong because this looked more like a luxury private community hidden inside the forest.
There were several large buildings spread across the estate, beautiful gardens, paved roads, fountains, and people walking round in the distance. Everything looked clean, organized, and peaceful. Some people were talking to each other outside while others walked around carrying things or heading toward different buildings. If nobody had told me this was a verewolf pack, I honestly would have thought this place belonged to rich people hiding away from society.
Still staring outside the window, I finally asked. “How many people actually live here?”
Theo slowed the car slightly as we drove farther inside. “A few hundred people,” he answered casually.
nearly choked. “A few hundred?” I repeated loudly while turning to stare at him. “You’re joking.”
Theo looked amused by my reaction. “I’m not.”
looked outside again, trying to take everything in properly now. Suddenly the place felt even bigger than before.
But not all my pack members live here.” Theo continued. “Some of them live on their own among humans after they get older or decide they want something different. There are also other packhouses in different locations where other members tay.
Asa
blinked slowly while trying to process all of that information. “So wait,” said carefully, “you’re telling me sogieone as mmature as you is responsible for that many people?”
Theo immediately rolled his eyes dramatically. “You would me.”
I’m serious,” I replied while staring at him suspiciously. “You spend half your life flirting and the other half playing football. I’m struggling to picture you being responsible for anything.”
Theo let out a soft laugh before shaking his head lightly. “Sooner or later,” he said, “you’re going to realize there’s more to me than what you currently think.”
I looked at him quietly for a second after he said that. The strange thing was that part of me already knew he was right. As irritating as Theo was, there have been moments today where I caught glimpses of something more serious under all the flirting and sinugness. Just now, seeing the way the security treated him made it obvious that he was important beyond just being some popular football player.
Still, I was not about to let him know I was thinking that. So instead, I simply rolled my eyes again and looked back outside
the window.

#fe cat eventually slowed before finally pulling to a huge driveway in front of an even larger building that honestly looked more like a mansion than anything else. The place was beautiful in an intimidating way, with large windows, tall stone walls and expensive-looking architecture that immediately made me feel underdressed and out of place all over
