That day, Aurora had agreed to dine with Heath. She arrived early at Heath’s placeand waited for him, flipping through scripts on the
couch.
Upon his arrival, Heath asked, “What would you like to eat?” to which Aurora wrapped herself tighter in her blanket and suggested hotpot, craving it in winter.
During the meal, Aurora mentioned that Madeline had recently visited Philadelphia, likely to see Sophia.
Heath paused, then revealed, “She didn’t visit Sophia.”
Surprised, Aurora asked, “How do you know?”
Heath explained, “Kieran has been monitoring Sophia, guarding against her seeking revenge. Since leaving the country, no one has visited
her.”
Stunned, Aurora recalled seeing Madeline act sneakily at a hotel, a matter she hadn’t pursued after moving to the capital. Now, it seemed there was more to investigate.
“Heath?” Aurora called out.
Heath looked up. “Hmm?”
“Do you think… Madeline could be cheating on my dad?” Aurora playfully bit her spoon, smiling.
Heath looked at her, resigned. “You seem quite pleased at the thought of your dad being cuckolded.”
Aurora nodded. “Of course, I’m happy. If it’s true, I won’t have to struggle. My dad will kick her out himself.”
Heath sighed, glancing at her. “What do you plan to do?”
Aurora looked at him slyly. “I know Kieran has many under his command. How about having a couple to investigate Madeline?”
Heath exhaled, “Just two. Kieran’s men aren’t meant to be gossip journalists.”
Aurora nodded, eagerly serving Heath more food. Regardless of the outcome, it was worth investigating. Perhaps they might uncover something to drive Madelineaway!
Aurora had been busy for two days with Daxton’s concert, and now Yvonne had caused another scene on the set.
When Aurora received the call, she heard that Cheryl was injured and rushed over. She found Cheryl seated, looking shaken. “Are you okay? Where are you hurt?” Aurora asked with concern.
Cheryl shook her head, “It’s nothing. Yvonne pushed Soraya and accidentally knocked me over. Just hit my head, but I’m fine.”
Aurora examined Cheryl’s injury. There was a reddish swelling on Cheryl’s forehead, with a few streaks of blood, but it seemed like a superficial wound. The assistant mentioned a doctor was already called to attend to her.

However, as an actress, Cheryl’s appearance was her livelihood. Aurora was angry and confronted the director, “What’s Yvonne’s deal? Why does she keep causing trouble here?”
The director shrugged, “She’s upset that Soraya took a role from her. Now without work, she won’t let Soraya work in peace either.”
Turning to Wonne, Aurora overheard her shouting, “Soraya, you think you can get away with this? You dare take what’s mine? Just you
wait!”
Soraya retorted, “I didn’t take anything! You lost your role because of your scandals. It’s not my fault the producer dropped you!”
“You little… Who are you to talk about my life?” Yvonne fumed, moving to slap Soraya, but Aurora intervened.
Seeing Aurora, Yvonne smirked, “Oh, it’s you?”
Aurora replied coldly, “Long time no see, Yvonne. You’ve changed. Not the same person who used to be scared of Evelyn.”
Yvonne’s smile faded, “I simply don’t bother with your sister. You think I’m afraid of her?”

“If you’re not scared, settle your issues with her. It was Evelyn who leaked your scandals, not Soraya. Why flex your muscles here?” Aurora challenged.
Yvonne glanced between Aurora and Soraya, smirking, “Oh Soraya, cozying up to Aurora now? Planning to leave HarmonyEntertainment?”
Soraya nervously wrung her hands, “No, that’s not it…”
In the entertainment industry, loyalty was crucial. Yvonne’s words were dangerous for Soraya to acknowledge.
Zane, having no scenes today, came upon hearing about Cheryl’s injury. He saw the quarrel and Cheryl listless at a table, a bruise on her
forehead.
Aurora faced Yvonne, “I don’t care about your grudges. If you have issues, settle them privately, not here disrupting our work. And you’ve hurt one of my people.”
Yvonne glanced at Cheryl, “It was just a bump, no big deal.”
Aurora smirked, “Remember Sophia didn’t hurt Cheryl, and you know what happened to her. Need a reminder?”
Yvonne, realizing Aurora’s influence, fell silent. She knew better than to underestimate Aurora,
Aurora had made Evelyn look foolish, lost her endorsements, helped Ivy make a comeback, boosted Cheryl and Daxton’s careers, saved Zane, and even got Sophia and Silas permanently ousted from the industry.
Yvonne turned to Soraya, sneering, “You like stealing roles, huh? Just wait!”
Soraya sobbed, “What’s so great about that? Just because you have connections!”
Yvonne laughed, “Yes, I do have connections. What can you do about it?”
Zane pushed through the crowd, glaring at Yvonne, “What connections? You dare cause trouble here? Seems like you don’t want to be in this industry anymore.”
