Chapter 251
Evelyn had harbored thoughts about Heath, but upon learning that Elowen and Heath were childhood sweethearts, and that their families
were even considering an engagement, she let the matter drop.
Without Heath, there were still other eligible bachelors from the Fairbank family. As long as she stayed close to Elowen, wouldn’t she
have a chance to climb the Fairbanks ladder?
Aurora, caught off guard by these words, paused and asked, “The Fairbank?”
Evelyn laughed, “Yes, the Fairbank family from the capital. Surely, Aurora, you must know them? Mr. Heath Fairbank even attended Grandfather’s birthday banquet. Weren’t you quite attentive to him? It’s just that, unexpectedly, Mr. Fairbank has his own beloved!”
Aurora couldn’t help but snort with laughter, “His beloved? Don’t tell me it’s Elowen?”
Evelyn nodded, “Of course! Elowen will soon marry Mr. Heath Fairbank!”
Evelyn was brimming with pride, flaunting like a peacock in full display, eager to let everyone know that Elowen was Heath’s childhood sweetheart and the future Mrs. Fairbank.
Aurora glanced at Elowen, her eyes laden with undisguised sarcasm. She smiled and said, “Then congratulations are in order for Elowen.”
Even Zane turned around, looking at Elowen with a suppressed laugh, “Congratulations! Marry off quickly, and stop troubling my brother!”
Chery also covered her mouth, struggling not to laugh out loud.
Within their circle, who didn’t know that Aurora was the one Heath truly cherished? Treasured so dearly as if fearing she would fall from his hands, and so carefully as if fearing she would melt in his mouth. At every gathering, they were the epitome of a loving couple.
If it weren’t for Aurora’s career in the entertainment industry not yet fully stabilized, and their relationship being kept low–key, combined with Heath’s concern over the Fairbanks‘ complex dynamics fearing harm might come to Aurora, they would have gone public long ago.
But how did it come to be that in Evelyn’s tale, Heath’s beloved became Elowen? If it were truly Elowen, the last time she went through great lengths to steal the keys to Heath’s residence, it enraged Heath to the point of almost sending Elowen back to England.
Aurora had no doubt about Heath’s sincerity; thus, the liar could only be Elowen.
It was hilariously absurd, announcing to everyone she was Heath’s fiancée, convincing even someone as astute as Evelyn, who eagerly awaited to serve as Elowen’s bridesmaid, hoping to get a foothold in the Fairbank family.
Aurora didn’t rush to expose her, merely chuckling from time to time while seated.
Soraya, sitting aside, whispered to Zane, “What’s so funny?”

Chapter 281
Zane chunkind. Laughing at some, pretending to be more powerfst than they are!
Evelyn’s face soured, glaring at Zane and Aurora, but she didn’t dare to speak up
Evelyn thought Zamra comment about being all bark and white wat directed at her, but in reality, Zane was referring to Elevets who
had been faghting Heath’s status to her advantage.
Aurora headed to the restroom, and Elowen followed shortly after.
As Aurora washed her hands at the sink, the mirror reflected Elowen standing behind her, dressed in a white evening gown, seemingly ethereal but with a fiercely grim expression, glaring daggers at Aurora.
Elowen’s gaze was venomous as she stared at Aurora. “Aurora! What exactly are you trying to do?”
Aurora laughed, her eyes meeting Elowen’s in the mirror before she turned around. “Whatever do you mean, Elowen? I’m afraid i don’t
follow.”
Elowen clenched her fists. “Don’t delude yourself into thinking you can be with Heath! He will never marry you!”
Aurora flicked her hands dry, tossing the towel aside with a chuckle. “He won’t marry me? And he would marry you? Don’t you find your own self–deception laughable?”
Elowen glared at Aurora, convinced that Aurora and her clique were mocking her relentlessly in their minds.
But what could she do? She adored Heath; there was no man better than him in her eyes!
As Elowen raised her hand to strike, Aurora blocked her effortlessly, holding Elowen’s wrist in an iron grip, immovable.
“Aurora! You wretch! Heath will never marry you!” Elowen’s face twisted in rage as she hurled insults.
Aurora’s expression turned icy. “Elowen, whether Heath marries me is my business, but one thing I’m sure of–he definitely won’t be
marrying you!”
With a swift movement, Aurora released Elowen’s hand, sending her stumbling toward the sink and clearing a path for herself.
Reaching the door, Aurora turned back. “Oh, and just in case you weren’t informed, I should probably tell you that Heath is now my boyfriend. So, I’d watch your manners. Terms of endearment are not for you to use!”
“Aurora!” Elowen roared.
Aurora smiled at Elowen. “you are so determined to have my Heath, by all means, try your luck and see if he spares you a second glance!”
Every mention of “my Heath” by Aurora felt like a direct blow to Elowen, marking Heath as her own territory, relegating Elowen to nothing more than a pitiful outsider, unworthy of interfering in their relationship.

Chapter 251
Elowen’s fists were clenched so tightly that her nails dug into her palms, oblivious to the pain.
Fuming with rage, her face a mix of green and white, Elowen lost all semblance of her usual gentle and virtuous demeanor.
She wished she could just rush out and stab Aurora, ending it all. Without Aurora in the picture, Heath would be hers alone, unclaimable
by anyone else.
