Patrick's face turned ashen. He snatched Marianne's phone.
He scrolled through her contacts for a while but couldn't find Serena's name.
He looked up in frustration. "Which one is Serena's number?"
Marianne pouted. "I never saved her number..."
"She was your daughter for twenty years and lived under the same roof with you for four, and you don't even have her contact information?!" Patrick snapped.
He completely forgot that the only reason he had Serena's number was because the late Mrs. Wynn had saved it in his phone for him. Otherwise, he, her own father, wouldn't have had it either.
Marianne's lips trembled as if she wanted to say something, but she saw Patrick take his phone and start manually entering the number into her phone, digit by digit.
