Messing With Her? Are You Crazy! novel Chapter 962

They only knew one thing.

With every micro-needle placed.

They felt a warm, soothing rush of energy flow into their bodies, spreading to their limbs.

It was more miraculous than a fantasy novel.

However, the process wasn't entirely comfortable.

In fact, it hurt.

The residual toxins in their bodies were severe.

As the Lazarus Sequence forced the poison out, a deep, aching soreness set in, testing their endurance.

Caleb and Lydia gritted their teeth, enduring the pain without making a single sound.

Half an hour later.

Serena finished the treatment.

The two were drenched in sweat as if they had been pulled from a river.

But the results were undeniable...

That constant, suffocating tightness in their chests vanished.

Their minds were sharper than ever before.

Not the artificial, manic high that came from Cerebro-Flex.

But a genuine, radiant clarity from the inside out.

They felt light and completely renewed.

"This is incredible..."

Lydia stretched her arms, her eyes wide with admiration. "You're amazing, Captain!"

Caleb rolled his wrists, his eyes shining. "My hands aren't shaking anymore! They're perfectly steady!"

"I feel like... I could knock out ten lab projects in a row right now!"

Serena meticulously sterilized her equipment, her tone nonchalant. "The toxins are deep in your bones. It won't be that easy to flush them out completely. This is a long-term process."

"I'll write down a formula for a custom detox serum. Have it compounded and take it daily. After a month, eighty percent of the toxins will be gone."

She packed away her kit.

She grabbed a pen and paper, jotted down the formula, and handed it to them. "If you have any friends who are still taking the Doyle family's Cerebro-Flex, convince them to stop and get them on this serum."

She hadn't expected her mother to come along.

"You must be tired," Catherine beamed at them. "Come, have a snack and rest a bit. Lunch will be ready soon."

She set the tray on the table.

The pastries were stunning and smelled divine.

Caleb and Lydia stood there awkwardly, too intimidated to reach out.

"Eat up," Serena said, grabbing a pastry first. "Don't be shy. My mother is an excellent baker. She'll be thrilled if you try them."

"They're... they're too beautiful. Like art. We wouldn't want to ruin them..." Lydia stared at the treats in awe.

The compliment made Catherine's day. "Your appreciation makes it all worth it! Go on, take a bite and let me know what you think."

They carefully picked up a pastry each.

And took a bite.

It melted in their mouths, sweet and perfectly soft.

It was so good it made them want to cry.
